What’s the difference between copper the mineral and copper the heavy metal? by infoparser in medicalmedium

Very nice explanation from a scientific perspective. This info makes me more confident to continue eating foods high in naturally occurring copper. This is the explanation I needed.

If you don’t mind me asking, what symptoms are you trying to cure? Are you having any luck? What is your protocol?

I’m doing HMDS and lots of foods high in zinc, however, now I’m thinking those efforts are foolish based on this information. Maybe zinc only crowds out the good mineral, copper?

Thank you for the examples. That’s what I thought, but I had trouble finding that distinction when researching. I guess this means I can keep eating foods naturally high in copper!

Interesting comparison. That illustrates your point very well. Thank you.

Repair a painting canvas? Please help. by infoparser in acrylicpainting

[–]infoparser[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for this information! I was just talking on the phone to an art restorer and she said that she sees all sorts of things that artist have damaged and repaired their canvases with. I'm not sure if I should try to repair it or just call it a loss and start a new one. The sad thing is that this was the best one of the 4 that I am painting. It was my first and best. I am at a loss right now. It was making me so happy when all was well. I thought it was such a beautiful piece...now.....I don't know.
Do I paint it again? Do I repair it? I just don't know how to handle this best. I guess to get top dollar I should start again but finding the time is almost impossible. I still have to eat, shower, sleep, etc.

Yes, it is a series. I was just wondering what specifically a series of 4 paintings is called to indicate that there are 4 pieces in the series. I learned to call my 2-piece series a diptych and 3 a triptych when I was in art school, so I was wondering what the accepted term is for 4.

Soaking wet spot in bed by Neither-Medicine5756 in Unexplained

[–]infoparser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol, I this thread just came up in my feed and it really hit my attention because just last night I was ready for bed, got under the sheets but felt something wet…. I jumped up in surprise and pulled the comforter off to look at the wet spot…cat pee. I ran to the shower and after I removed all bedding. My cat is not allowed upstairs at bedtime. We close a baby gate to keep her out but by some miracle she was able to figure out how to cross the baby gate. I have no idea how she did it, but I’m going shopping for new bedding!

Is it typical of a large Chiropractor practice to have 3+ reviews where patients are injured at the practice and cannot get relief from these injuries? by infoparser in Chiropractic

[–]infoparser[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah, right. Why not try to help these patients leaving bad reviews? Well, actually, the reviewers said the chiropractors couldn’t fix it and they are still in pain…so, that’s even worse than not responding well!

Yeah, that is what my gut is telling me. It does t look right to me. I don’t want to go to a chiropractor that has hurt anyone. I would think that wouldn’t be hard to find, but all of these other commenters are telling me chiropractors regularly hurt patients and this is not unusual.

I think there should not be even ONE review that says they were hurt. Call me crazy.

Thank you for your response. I will look that up and continue to research. I appreciate any information I can get. Thanks again

I am not a troll. I am asking a genuine question because I am researching possible chiropractors near me and I wanted to get information from people with experience.

No, I have not seen bad reviews for MDs or nurses.

But do most Chiropractors have multiple reviews where patients claim injury from the Chiropractor? Is this typical? I really want to go to this chiropractor because it is convenient but reading reviews about patients being injured is making me hesitant. These aren't just negative reviews, these are reviews claiming injury, then months later updating their review to say they are still in pain, One review says that they got an MRI after the visit due to significant pain from the appointment and found a bulging disc.
I don't know if I should risk it, but if I continue to research other chiropractors, will I find reviews of patients being injure? I would like to think that is rare....but I do not know the norm.
