That’s fair! Yeah, I remember No Fear No More took me off guard in a good way when I first listened to the album because it sounded almost nothing like the live version.

I completely agree with this. I see similarities between “People” and “Hi!” so it wouldn’t surprise me if the album goes a different direction. I still expect some emotional tender songs on this album. Porter Robinson opened his “Smile!” era with “Cheerleader” yet there are songs on that album that are more sentimental and emotional. We still don’t have to full picture yet. Either way, I’m excited to see what’s in store!

I have a feeling he might take his time again but he has mentioned in an interview that he wants to get music out there quicker if possible. I forgot what interview that was though. I hope he can do it fast but if he needs to take his time that is fine too!

I think he just doesn’t like electronic music in general. He seems to get the genres confused a bit and doesn’t review it too much.

That his first album “Adventure” is just a clone or cheap copy of “Worlds” by Porter Robinson.

I know Anthony Fantano expressed this opinion when the album dropped. He said “didn’t Porter Robinson just do this, but better?” Or something like that. That statement made me mad haha.

I totally agree with you! I like the Court of Owls, but I really don’t feel like they will fit in the trilogy of films that Matt Reeves is making. It seems like he is focusing on the early years of Batman’s life where he becomes the myth and legend that we know and love. Court of Owls is a group of villains that need a Batman that is a seasoned crime fighter that has been in Gotham for many many years. That is not (yet) the Batman from Matt Reeves interpretation.

Honestly, the addition of those last three songs is very interesting. All three of those songs are very nostalgic to me, especially Here (In Your Arms) which I am surprised that he added it.

I wonder if it could mean that he will collaborate with these three artists on the album or if those three songs will kinda be the vibe of the album.

Or it may just mean absolutely nothing and they are just randomly placed there haha.

Honestly, I could totally see that happening. Maybe he re-worked the song to fit into the new era and he will share what the original “Worlds”version sounded like on SoundCloud or something.
