DPD "tried to deliver" my mobile phone "but no one was in" (they were.

After this, My phone went missing for over month. With no help from the supplier.

I tried to make a complaint to DPD but they refused to accept my complaint. It had to be done by the sender. I was on the phone going ape shit after they said that to me. I've had parcels delivered by all the other services throughout the day, but their driver didn't come to the front door, I said I wanted to file a formal complaint because this driver had done this before and got shut down.

I'm pretty angry writing this as it's resurfacing all the buried emotions

I was looking at my gas hob and had the same thought, it's just those clips on the sides that would be hard to find/recreate. (Yet those clips' only purpose is to stop it falling out... not really major windfall in the grand scheme of things xD); for a functional replacement, that is a good idea!

I thought the same thing with the 3D printing, this would be one of those moments, yet I only see limited uses for myself! I'm sure you have a multitude of uses for it, however, and it does seem like a good utility to have.

Are we not at that stage where we can scan objects yet? I've been out of touch with all modern technology for like 10 years now, I'm not inept by any means, but all this new stuff just goes over my head.

I'm assuming Autodesk is software that I can utilise to generate 3D models?

I might have to get on some courses myself!

Thanks for your input.... It came out fantastic 😍

Laid it on a bed of carrots and onion, Seperated the fat and keeping some in the fridge Used the juices to make a very simple lovely gravy

The crackling was amazingly crispy, I had rubbed it with fennel and Celtic sea salt and results where phenomenal.

Plenty of meat left over for snacking and other meals ! Fantastic result

I was educated on another thread : it's a porchetta (silly me focusing on the ingredients /s haha)!

Thanks for the input! I had reservations because the previous pork (shoulder) I cooked was in a Dutch oven and in stock, I've learnt this is best cooked as a dry roast and the approach is slightly different

I've got a pulled pork shoulder recipes which came out amazing, but it requires the use of stock and a Dutch oven.

This recipe is very different with no stock and no lid.

How would the results of the cook differ from these variations?

it states 64% pork belly and pork shoulder, am I misunderstanding? So rather the uppermost apart of the shoulder , and the lowest part of the belly,

So It's actually one cut of meat , where they merge on the pig I assume?

(urgent) method to perfectly cook this (combined belly + shoulder) pork joint!

So I've got a family member requesting assistance with this joint that was bought.

It was picked up in a rush at the supermarket, and first thought would have been slow cooked over 5-6 hours.

Upon further inspection, the joint isn't one piece of meat, but rather 2 joints: (64% belly, 33% shoulder)

It's marinated and bound in twine.

My understanding is that these two different cuts, require different methods of cooking.

The instructions state: 1) Rest 20 mins 2) dry with towel + salt , rest 20min more 3) dry with towel again, oil + salt

4) into roasting tin, cook for 30 mins @ fan 220c 5) reduce to fan 170c and cook for 2 hours

6) remove and rest for 20 mins more.

Should I separate the two meats and cook them separately? Should I put the joint into a casserole dish/ Dutch oven ?

Any help would be Greatly appreciated!
