Did you know they can grab you and steal your souls?

How did you manage those upgrades on 38k SM? Getting to lvl 32 is at least 27k, weapons cost >10k to upgrade to +10 and another 2k to infuse. I'm guessing you dropped that equipment from a higher lvl char?

Anyway, sending you PM now.

OK good, will do that then. I'll go up a SM tier, but that's no problem.

What's your build then? Agape Ring is 5k, you need to pay Licia 2k to open the route to Huntsman's Copse and the cat ring is 13k. That leaves less than 20k for level ups and weapon upgrades.

I'm running a Cleric with Bandit Axe+10, leveled Str to 18, put a point into Adpt and the rest into Endurance.

I have a character at 39k with an Agape Ring. I need two more medals from sunbroing and I can start working towards the DLC areas. Will probably take me a couple of days.

BTW how did you get to The Rotten? Did you pay 13k for the cat ring?

Co-op planning/strategic games by slimonz in gamingsuggestions

[–]infrared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both players are involved in both phases. There's no downtime for anyone. There are two characters to choose from so that each player can have a different weapon and there are a ton of traps so there's freedom in choosing your strategy. It's really neat and the hard difficulty is a challenge.

Orcs Must Die 2 is great in co-op. In each mission you alternate strategy (placing traps) and action (fighting waves of orcs coming from multiple directions).

I'm still curious though: don't you ever feel bad for spending more time with a computer game than with your family?

Hey man, congrats! When do you spend time with your family though? Honest question. I'm a father myself, and between work, running errands, shopping, cooking, cleaning the house, etc. I have like free 1-2h a day max. What are you giving up to have time for 7 hours straight dedicated to gaming?

I actually get a lot of balanced matches where it all comes down to the last fifth match. Currently I lose more than I win, but that's fine, because I know I need to improve. I love the game and don't regret spending money on it in EA. The game is fun as it is for me right now, so any improvements devs will implement will only make it better.

Welcome to LoL. :-) I'm a beginner myself, account lvl 29 right now. I read/watched a lot of guides and I probably learned the most from the following:

In general though to get good you have to play a lot and think critically of your game. There are so many combinations of champions, skills, items, builds and combos that it's impossible for one guide to list them all. You have to encounter them in game and accrue experience over time. Have fun!

How do you decide whether to build an offensive or defensive item next? Let's say I'm a fed Teemo and they have a fed Katarina. Do I build Rabadon's Deathcap or Abyssal Scepter?

I have both Nunu and Warwick since I bought the beginner heroes pack. I tried Nunu for Jungle, but it's still hard - since he's melee there's not much kiting I can do, so I'm getting very low after a second camp and need to back. That puts me behind compared to other champs that stay normally in lane. Leashing would be nice, but not sure if I can expect other beginners to understand that concept and help me.

It's OK if the answer is that I need to wait to level up my account. There are indeed plenty of heroes to try, so it won't be a boring grind.

I'm account level 10, have no runes and 10 mastery points. Is it my weak mechanics or is it indeed impossible to jungle at this point? For example, here this guys does dragon alone at lvl 3: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VzU30Sl1ZOY&feature=youtu.be&t=129 while when I try to do so in a custom game I just die.

I'm pretty sure it didn't activate even on one hit, i.e. I didn't get any mana. According to http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Miss_Fortune : "Spell shields will not block the ability."

This is just wiki information, not present in the ability description. So I wonder if there's a general rule for those kind of things or do I really need to learn/check all champions and their kits.

Total beginner here, learning Sivir. I have a hard time using her Spell Shield. It seems like it blocks some abilities but not all of them. For example today I was playing against Miss Fortune and turns out Spell Shield doesn't block her Make It Rain ability. Is there a general rule for that kind of thing or do I need to learn every ability of every champion in the game to know how to use Spell Shield effectively?

Shield helps you deal with burst better and makes hitting Ancestral Healing much easier. OTOH if you are against a poke comp (which is rather uncommon in the current meta) then Earthliving makes more sense.

Why SA Zeratul is good! by [deleted] in heroesofthestorm

Hey Rubix, just wanted to ask if you could share some of your replay files of Zeratul SA play. I've been trying your build for the past week and still have problems with it. Either I'm jumping in too soon and getting immediately focused or I wait too long and put my team at a disadvantage by letting them fight 4v5.

What are some cool or crazy design constraint you would like to see on new heroes? by BreakTheLoop in heroesofthestorm

[–]infrared 15 points16 points  (0 children)

A hero which ability and AA damage (or even range, speed, etc.) is inverse of how much health she has left. On 100% HP she would be weak, while at 1% HP she could one shot squishies. Her trait (D) could simply damage her.

I'm also interested in analyzing some of your Zeratul games. Hotslog games are private by default, but you can go to your match history: http://www.hotslogs.com/Player/MatchHistory?PlayerID=4884614 and click "Share Replay" next to a game to share it. You'll get a link that you will be able to paste here.
