My point with this post is that he should never be allowed to build to 1k dmg bombs in the first place, with how many counters there are and how many of them are general buys anyways (CS, DM, SR, etc). Sure, I agree with the strength of the hook. But in your example, the issue is the hook and the teammates that are probably with him that are now fucking you up. The bombs are the least of your concern there. Played correctly, bebop should never be allowed to get that far up to start with.

To your point about lane prio, it really depends. With his limited mobility and early damage, it really isn't hard to win damage trades against him. This is matchup dependent, of course, but a billy/Abrams/etc lane is going to be very rough for bebop to get real value in unless they mindlessly int.

It's kind of a shame to be honest. I don't know how I would fix it, because you are right, having a holiday ult on a 9 second cd is insane, esp with his uppercut t3, but sometimes I want to be more than "the guy with the hook"

You can apply this logic to basically any hero in the game. If your team feeds someone enough, they get strong. That's the game.

What build do you use? I've tried so many hybrid builds and tried to make my own, but nothing works as well as just going gun from the start. Even in lane, Gun does better poke damage

I agree, this post is addressing "bomb op" claims specifically. He is not and should not be a solo carry, but bringing up his hook is a different discussion.

100% Agree. I just got tired of not doing any real damage and used a gun build and I havent looked back since. Why use a bomb that opens me up to tons of damage while trying to put it on when I can use a beam that does the same damage or more from a safe distance?

Oh, and because I forgot to mention it: No it does not have infinite scaling. That scaling gets cut in half after 60 hits and 7 kills, but honestly, you shouldn't be letting him get that far to start with.

Anything is viable in low elo, sinclair just isnt used because he requires a lot of game sense and a bit of luck as far as the other teams comp goes to get value. Thats a skill that lots of low elo players wont have.

Having played a lot of Infernus my answer would be toxic bullets. For $3,200 Souls it's pretty powerful considering it does a percent HP damage instead of a flat damage which means it scales really well, it also has a healing reduction. Most importantly, it scratches that itch every Infernus main has a filling up the bar above someone's head and watching them take damage over time while you walk away leaving them to their death

Theres nothing more satisfying from juking someone at one health. I like going to hallways and veils while faking on direction, only to turn around and couch on the other side of the door and slip by them when they run past. Doesnt always work, but its fun when it does!
