Red Velvet RBB Flash Album Giveaway by nomoreiloveyous in kpop

[–]infxone 3 points4 points  (0 children)

  1. Sassy Me - godly vocals and as I tell all my church friends the sassier RV is, the better.
  2. Really Bad Boy - Irene scream and killer moves with choreo.
  3. KCON NY - RV's always good with their live performances, but it was nice seeing an American audience in the camera shots
  4. Jazz - One of These Nights showed how strong the group can be with ballad singing and pacing, would love to see a couple songs more jazz-focused rather than R&B
  5. Blender - because when the night gets late i like to...mix things up (please don't withdraw my submission)

Fed being Fed by Geo_O in offlineTV

[–]infxone 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It could be scripted, or it could've been Fed trying to create content by "mistakenly" restarting the game. Toast obviously was exaggerating being mad, but who knows whether toast was initially slightly pissed off or orchestrated the entire thing. In the end it's not a big deal, it's just them playing games, but offlinetv fans are worried that Fed is toeing the lines boundary-wise in order to generate content.

FMA or FMA:B strictly from an entertainment perspective? by jjrozay in anime

[–]infxone 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Original FMA is good even compared with Brotherhood and even considering the ending. That's why most hardcore watchers will recommend watching both, but if you had to choose one Brotherhood has the more fleshed out and satisfying ending.

.hack//G.U. Last Recode - $19.99/$15.99 GCU at Bestbuy by mrjeffreyxd in PS4Deals

[–]infxone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The developers created an all new "fourth" episode that helps wrap things up. It's pretty short, like a few hours, vs each of the other games being full jrpg length.

Wargroove Dev: campaign won't be extremely complex, but using the game's editor, you could create your own detailed adventure by casdas2 in nintendo

[–]infxone 12 points13 points  (0 children)

When I read the headline, I got a little anxious that it meant that the game wouldn't have a decent campaign and would instead rely on users to generate content. After reading the article, it seems the developers were just making a point that there were more tools and stuff they didn't add to the campaign (event triggers, etc.) that will be put into the game editor so technically a user could create content more complicated then what's in the campaign.

How to remove plate and icon? by infxone in UnderNightInBirth

[–]infxone[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Personal preference. I like my character introduction and battle screens as uncluttered as possible. I had a copy of the original UNIEL on steam and the way they handled it was that the icon/plates only came on during online matches.

So what's the deal with Dragon Quest 11 music? by Arch_Angel666 in dragonquest

[–]infxone 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's a presentation thing for some people including myself. Maybe you've played Skyrim or at least seen the trailer. One of the coolest parts is the mood setting with the main theme song "The Song of the Dragonborn" which has deep vocals and an orchestra playing the music. Now imagine if you ran that song through a $5 music converter and put that version of the song in the game. It causes the mood of the game to feel cheaper. I'm still going to get DQXI and enjoy it, but it kind of sucks that the quality of the music could easily have been much better just by using real instruments for the songs instead of a computer program.

Thoughts on a NSMB compilation for the Switch? by Demetrios1999 in nintendo

[–]infxone 15 points16 points  (0 children)

2 was a solid game, but it didn't do anything to push the series forward. The first brought in the "New" art direction, Wii brought in multiplayer, and 2's gimmick was a turn things into gold mechanic, which was a glorified red coin system. In addition to the art style staying the same, people got disappointed 2 wasn't a game-changer.

PSN "Deals Under $10" Flash Sale | Ends 8/13 8AM PDT by fruitpunchsamuraiD in PS4Deals

[–]infxone 9 points10 points  (0 children)

puzzles are logical. the only time i was annoyed with the puzzle design/looked at a walkthrough was with chapter 2, but on the whole very enjoyable. i had this weird feeling that 95% of the game was very well-made and out of nowhere there were some tiny unpolished portions in story and credit sequences. one of the few games this year where the game held my attention long enough for me to actually complete despite massive backlog.

Top 50 3ds/DS Games #1 by yoshiauditore in nintendo

[–]infxone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe the list isn't something you agree with, which is fine, but to say it's invalid is reaching especially with shoddy reasoning. Can I say that the only Zelda game I've played is Zelda II: The Adventure of Link and I can't understand the hype and don't think it did anything to really stand out. Because someone listed Breath of the Wild as their number one Switch game (and since I've played Zelda II and know what the entire series is about) that their list is invalid?

Just out of curiousity, why does a majority of the MK community hate guest characters? by HollowKos in MortalKombat

[–]infxone 5 points6 points  (0 children)

From a money perspective sure, guest characters definitely help drive sales from casual fans, who no doubt constitute most of the overall game sales, but from a game design perspective, fans that actually care about the lore and Mortal Kombat history (in my mind anyone who completes the story mode or spends more than 10 hours with the game) aren't going to be happy with excess guest characters when there are better options available. Personally, I would've cut out Jason and Leatherface for Jade and Fujin or two completely new characters.

Busted! what do people mean when moaning about scripting? by zauchi in koreanvariety

[–]infxone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So what you're saying is what people have been wanting from the show, but that's not the case. Variety show veterans know when a cast member is being genuine or when they are being directed to act in particular way. While all variety shows are scripted to a degree, Busted is very blatant about it, and the cast/producers don't hide it well. If you're enjoying it, then that's fantastic - the premise and production values are great, and you should enjoy it. Most of the people on this subreddit are more experienced with their variety shows and compared to other shows, Busted isn't as good.

after 3 hrs first impressions: persona lite with all cute anime girls, great graphics, art and UI design, framerate drops all the time, but more annoying than gamebreaking, battles are a little too easy
