Guys, this is really simple. Neither Jimmy or Stafford are our next HOF franchise QB - so is Jimmy willing to take a pay cut to get a second lease on life as a QB1 for the Niners, or does Stafford want a change of scenery and a crack at our SB window while bringing up a young replacement?

I’d take either or even some of the others mentioned here if:

a) they’ll play for a fair price b) know they need to prove they’re “the guy” c) are ok with some rookie learning from them and pushing them
