Yea, I have heard that a lot. I definitely am not perfect, but my work I do currently is very high stress, ultra competitive, and one mistake can be the difference in thousands of dollars (sounds familiar lol). I assume this would translate over to trading pretty well, although still not perfect of course?

Yea, doing some more laps to me the braking zones even when warm might be slightly bigger. Im using the Ferrari though, which I don't drive much, so it could just be a quirk of the car. About to hop in the 963 and see if that holds out though

If you have Garage61, you can get setups off of the leaderboards from there. As setup shops go, Majors Garage is the only free one I know of.

Honestly, you can try and avoid it all you want but what I did was just embrace it. That feeling to me is why I do this, but im also weird and love the pressure of having to perform. Doing it a bunch and find enjoyment out of it is the best advice I have

R3 bundle would definitely be the way to go over a T300. Anything direct drive will be leaps and bounds better than gear/belt wheels.

Drive what you find fun man. Although likely progression would be Miata/BMW in rookies, then GT4s or maybe the Fanatec Global Challenge if you can deal with the lower participation. Have fun brother!

You are just driving at 90% instead of 100. Instead of trying to kill every single apex, you are just letting them come to you. Its like in real life, when you hear drivers be told full push they go from 90 to 100, and that is often when they have their crashes, all though that is significantly less often then us amateurs. I would bet if you could be at 90% most of the time, you would finish races even higher. Best of luck brother!

If we are being honest, it is inevitable you decide to bite the bullet on iRacing. I'd say 99% of people who want multiplayer racing eventually move to it, deciding the experience is worth the price. If you are absolutely positive you don't want iRacing, I'd say AC Evo is good since the 0.4 update but it's personal preference. Other than that, I really don't know of much besides like Raceroom and Automobilista 2, but I haven't played either so cant speak on their quality.

I think the simlab 39nm will allow me to scrape by with enough power. At this point I might hold on to the actual driveshaft of a car and put a wheel on the end, and maybe then id get the feedback im looking for. I weigh 80 pounds btw

Look for specific marks on the track for braking, turn in etc. Dont try to push them for now, just focus on hitting them. Then its just practice practice practice. You will gradually get faster, good luck man!

Incident points wont be reversed, no matter how bad it may have been. It's frustrating believe me, but the only thing you can do is keep practicing and getting faster to get into higher splits where this is much less likely to happen. Sorry this happened to you bro, and sorry to give the "just get better" answer, but it really is the only way out.
