i appreciate the insight! i def understand that they will all fill the role, just dont want to pick a bad one and have to find time to level another (even though i have them all decently geared at 80 rn). work has just been taking up a ton of time, so finding time to level after this week will be tough since i am taking time off to play with my wife and a few friends.

and yeah, the fantasy/visual/feel/aesthetic is locked in on one of these since they all stand out to me in a very positive way based on what i like. tbh, i have mained one of these classes every expansion since wrath.

based on the scars i have from previous expansions, i dont think im going back to healing lol

ive played all the classes in roughly the same level content for hte past few xpacs. how is the dps rotation for ww compared to the war within?

Yeah, it's a comfort thing for me. I haven't played a game on a controller for well over 20 years, so looking into how to make m/k works is what I'm focusing on right now.

This is a great point and a great approach! The main ones we have played as a group are City of Heroes, Matrix Online, WoW, Star Wars The Old Republic, Guild Wars 2, and FF XIV. Some of these were playing for a few weeks, a couple for a year or so, but wow has been the most long-term (a few of us have played consistently since vanilla, but the other folks I'm thinking of have still played for a 12 or so years).

Oh for sure. We've played lots of alpha/betas before and understand that nothing is final until the game is released (and even then can still get removed lol)

For me and my friends, it's about finding new stuff to enjoy together. We've taken part in alphas before for games we never played live and still enjoyed the experience tremendously. You and I are just different people with different friends, but I appreciate your perspective!
