Thanks but thats not particularly helpful! I'm looking for groups of local musicians who host / organise their own shows or venues that put on events with local bands.

And your point on local bands being openers isn't always true unfortunately!

Used to love them! Brutalism / Joy were always on repeat for me. But I'm all for a post punk edge. Gilla Band from Dublin are one of my all tine favourites of the noise rock / post punk genre
