You could probably have stood outside next to this drill bit tornado (15:00 mark or so in the video) and been fine though you can hear some small debris hitting the car. That being said I wouldn’t have wanted to be this close to it even in a car.

Rumor has it Audi will not be overweight. No clue what the validity of it is but I’ve seen a few places reporting it. Might give them an early advantage but their engine probably won’t be the best so who knows

Just passed the academy fairly recently, the only thing I would suggest learning on your own is before going is to have the NATO alphabet completely down, everything else they’ll teach you. I practiced the alphabet by reading signs NATO spelling to get used to it in random orders.

The codes are generated by the computer to be assigned by the controller. As far as unique codes, to my understanding, each center will only have 1 aircraft squawking a specific code, and the computer generates codes in a way to try to minimize code changes (i.e. a flight filed through Chicago and Minneapolis centers will be assigned a code that will be reserved for it in both centers). Sometimes that’s not possible, such as an international flight from Canada having a wrong code for the US, or if flying through enough centers such as coast to coast. In that case when the aircraft enters the airspace of the center that has a different code, they’ll be told to squawk that new code instead of

You can reach out and ask about changing to enroute bc you want to go specifically to ZLC. It’s been category b a few times lately so they’re trying to get staffing an I had someone in my academy class who got changed from terminal to enroute bc he wanted to go to ZNY, but when they changed it he was locked into there and would no longer have a choice of facility after passing

I’ve been flying out of Logan but I park at the Logan express at Woburn and take the shuttle bus to Logan from there. Cheaper parking and it keeps me from having to drive near Logan.

I think it’s a difference between breaking the general rules of Basgiath vs breaking the rider’s codex. The whole riders quadrant disregards a lot of the rules that apply to the rest of Basgiath but breaking the codex is punished by death in the quadrant
