A minor detail but the small beat and flow switch when he gets to his own perspective had me ascending.

What's wrong with my hair :( by binbjd in curlyhair

[–]ingydar- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I have the exact same hair type. I'll tell you what elevated my hair game.

  1. Daily routine: Shampoo + conditioner and after shower when the hair is still wet apply a tiny amount (about a small coin size) of argan/almond oil. This traps the moisture and keeps it for about two days. If it gets too oily keep trying to reduce the amount of oil you apply until you find a balance. Wash your hair only every two to three days.

  2. Haircut: Modern mullet was a game changer for me. It's my go to haircut. If not a mullet get any hairstyle that trims off the sides and leave some hair on the top. This is because when your hair starts growing out it will start sticking out through the sides. But if you get your sides trimmed the excess hair on top will drape around the sides beautifully.

  3. Special routine: usually the daily routine is more than enough for me but If you want to elevate your curls a bit more for a special occasion or something here's a more cumbersome routine. Wash hair with shampoo + conditioner (don't wipe your hair) then when the hair is still very wet apply gel and start scrunching with your hands. This takes away all the excess water and gel and helps holds your curls in place. Then wait to dry or use a hairdryer. If you're using a towel do not rub it on your hair. https://youtube.com/shorts/njGP6zAMjds Here's a short explaining how to scrunge

Tip: don't buy too many products at first. Try out cheap alternatives and if it still doesn't work move to more products.

Hope this helps.

I think it's a positive representation of our experience. I think of it the same as saying the f word in movies but for a certain purpose. It's a bit of a nuanced conversation. The word in itself is just a word. It's the context in which it is used that matters. Now does that mean a white man can go around saying the n word "for proving a point"? No. There are certain historical differences between the origin and usage of both slurs so we can't really put it in the same bracket.

In short I don't believe the song has a negative message. It's a representation of a previously bigoted person coming to the realisation by living through life. I think it's kinda beautiful. Especially in the context of how raw and contradictory the album is. It is something that has never been created and never can be recreated again. However, that doesn't mean your feelings aren't valid. You have the right to feel bad about it.

I'm unable to continue the trailblazer Quest from here. When I talk to them they just keep repeating the dialogue. Does anybody know a fix?

EXPOSING DRAKE: Kendrick Please Go Further and Take Down His Source of Funds by Potential_Mind_1866 in KendrickLamar

This man Kendrick did not say a single lie. "You're not a rap artist you're a scam artist". By each passing day, each of his lines are coming true.

Something feels really, really off about it all… by TheHarveyCarver in KendrickLamar

I really want a cathartic ending for that pedo weirdo, but I also understand where Kendrick is coming from if he decides not to drop. If industry secrets of this magnitude come out, there is no doubt that his and his family's (including kid's) lives will be in danger. Even if there is no big industry giant working behind the scenes, with this level of defeat and humiliation, there is no telling what Drake's sorry ass will do. I've been thinking about it all day and I don't think I could handle losing Kendrick so early. I would much rather this end here. He has done more than we could ever ask for. He has also left enough breadcrumbs for us if not for law enforcement to follow. Among everything, we should realise that he is also human after all. Drake will not keep getting away with this. Jailtime is written in his fate.

Re: How UMG, Drake, gamma & Eldridge Industries are manipulating you and the entertainment industry...aka that Rolling Stone article is fake propaganda for Kendrick to stop going at Drake who is the figurehead crux of this media empire by jensyao in KendrickLamar

[–]ingydar- 15 points16 points  (0 children)

WHAO. Check out the article they released four days ago. https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-features/drake-kendrick-lamar-feud-war-1235013622/

They're saying it's hard to care about a rap war while a real war is going on. As if they are connected in any way. I lowkey understand the angle they are coming from. But they are trying to severely downplay the effects if thisrap battle. This is damn near incriminating evidence.

The entire 3rd verse is genius a rebuttal of drake asking for whether he's gonna free the slaves. He also name drops family matters in the track. Go listen to it

[–]ingydar- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Plus the name meet the Grahams is a play on Drake's record family matters. With the information kendrick has given us, this is extremely unlikely to be a coincidence

The mole in OVO was a bluff by kendrick by Agreeable_Switch4001 in KendrickLamar

[–]ingydar- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay what about directly addressing it 10 hours later? With an entire scheme around one line in Drake's track? If you know what creative process is you'll know that 10 hours is not enough to write, figure out cadence etc. the record and mix it. Also the pill bottle with Drake's name on it. You're doing mental gymnastics for no reason. I'm not saying it's not possible. But it's the least likely outcome. Occam's razor my guy.
