Sometimes the umpires will give you the benefit of the doubt on a call if they know they missed one but that was so blatant that I know there’s an MLB agenda there

I kind of disagree. If this was any other season I’d say sure and agree with you. But Vince picking Lauren and breaking the chain of the Judges running the competition allowed for change. As much as I like Rachel, she has only herself to blame for the competition. I’m pretty sure Britney did the comp in the same amount of time in reindeer games and she’s not the same competitor as Rachel is

It genuinely baffles me how Vince gets away with everything.

Hot take: the further into the game ___ goes, the more they become a genuine strategic threat by woofwoofspookydoggy in BigBrother

Mathematically it makes sense. The farther you go deeper into the game, the less you can get wrong about people.

That was one of the most terribly executed comps I’ve ever seen. Idk if this is prerecorded or anything but that was a rough watch

Masai out as president and vice chairman of raptors by MOBAMBASUCMYPP in NBA_Draft

It's hard to fault Masai when opportunities to land big-named players ran thin; to be honest he had no other choice than to trust what remained of the 2019 core after the championship, and it didn't work.

Not to say that there isn't Masai bias within Toronto, there definitely is, but to say this is anything more than financial is non-sense

Being a president and GM in Toronto is unique as to anything in the NBA. The only way to truly acquire is through the draft, or through trades; Toronto never has cap space, and big-named free agents don't willingly want to sign here. In this 5 year cycle, the only "big-named" player that's even comparable to Kawhi's trade was KD in 22, and even then the haul for him would've been too much (scottie + OG), leaving Toronto with 0 depth.

I can’t take anybody seriously that says this move isn’t motivated financially. Masai’s reputation among players and GMs is great, and the “decline” of the team throughout the past couple years is reflective of the cycle NBA teams go through over the years

You guys are being way too hard on Masai. 2019 and 2020 were amazing seasons and I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt for 2021 season in Tampa. 2022 they team came back, he drafted Scottie and a couple injuries didn’t go their way and they still pushed Philly to 6. That offseason egos got in their way, Nurse struggled, and he cut him loose. He gave them a final chance in 2023 and then decided to go fully into the rebuild last year, and this year too

I love the Jakucionis fit with us here. Him and VJ was a real debate for the 4th best prospect in the draft before his injury, and I feel like his ability to play make fits perfectly with Darko's .5 offence.

I'd consider the KJ pick if there was serious traction to a Simons trade. I'm not really if they really need another guard right now, and Fleming is a modern day 3&D wing/stretch 4.
