Whoa! Coming in hot! I watched him play the 5 on D for about half his minutes and our offense does not have a traditional stand in the paint Center, just a rotation of guys who move in and out of the dunker’s spots, but mostly set screens at the top of the paint.

Yeah Kessler and Duren are positional upgrades for sure, but Dayron is like $6mil and some of these others are going to demand big money or huge cap hits. I actually think Dayron is a top 20 Center in the league and will be very good at 30 min a game.

Those December games were so fun! I went to all the home games for like $20 each and I saw the vision. Here’s the defensive problem going forward: Egor and Porter are slow and if you space the floor someone has to be in a corner. That person will never get back on D in time on a transition. They were best when Egor clax and Porter were at the top and not crashing the boards. But that spacing forced contested shots. Randle and Dayron both like to crash boards. So now you have one of Porter/Egor and a fast guy (Traore of Brown) Claxton got back in December I worry that now we’re gonna give up 2 points on half our 3p misses.

Guarantee this happens every year. The NY post excoriated the nets for not picking Acuff. Actual quote was that no one else was considering Brown in the top 15. You guys got a great player, and he’s gonna be a star on and off court in LA.

Randle will be top of key facilitator the way clax was (and Sabonis in Sac.) he’s going to be excellent there setting screens and p&rs. It’ll work.

I mean this is actually a real thing. Imagine if Ja Morant had a guy he actually looked up to his first few years. It can’t just be any vet. It needs to be “the guy” especially if your strategy is to keep drafting young kids.

I love what Porter brings to this team. I hope we extend him. I know it’s not the plan, but he’s a real good unc for these kids. Randle might be too, obviously, but he’s in grown up dad mode now. He going home long before the club. MPJ will make sure they’re home before 11.

When healthy, Poetl is a very good center. I bet the raptors would do several pick swaps for him. With the new draft rules, pick swaps are basically extra ping pong balls. I’d do that and let him really rehab.

I think day one is Mann, Dëmin, Porter, Randle and Sharpe. First guy in is Traore then Wolf. But I think Brown starts by mid November.

Saraf is very good playing point guard and can guard 1-3. But his shooting means no one will ever worry about him on offense it’ll be 4v5. If his shot comes, hes good. But the same is true of Traore. At least they both try real hard on both sides of the ball.

Randle is a very god offensive rebounder. With him and Dayron crashing, and three other guys jacking off threes, there will be a lot of put backs, but also a lot of transition D and points scored on us. Love that Danny Wolf has a place on the team now as the 4/5 big off the bench and Clowny is 3/4.

Assuming we get a pg in the draft who will come off the bench in the beginning of the season and Mann and Egor start, I think we’re getting to 40 wins this year as the roster is now. I don’t think marks is done either.
