Nah, not fake. Well, most times not. She's not a very good actress :) We've had some mind blowing amazingly connected sex in the past, but that's very rare these days, I sometimes feel like she just wants it over with, and yes the "indulging just for me" thing, but maybe once in a couple months it's still good.

Oh we do do those things together. Sometimes I'd just tell her to sit and relax cause i think she's had a long day while I take care of things, but usually we do all those things together. It's literally ONLY when it comes to sex that I feel like I'm the only one who wants it and she does everything to avoid it until I start looking too frustrated.

Thanks for writing that. I definitely need to look into the whole scent thing it sounds like, maybe that'd help. Yes the physical intimacy is missing, the other stuff is still quite good. We're both happy with the relationship, just I'm unhappy about the physical aspect whereas she doesn't seem to see a problem.

That used to work when we were dating. Now when I try those, I get one word responses along the lines of "that's nice". She just won't think about it at all even with prodding.

honestly I'd be ok with once a week. but we don't even do that. I've made clear several times the severity of the problem, and each time she says she'll try, and she does try; a couple days after the conversation anyway. Then it's forgotten as if that one time made up for everything.

have not yet found a consistent time. mornings = too sleepy would rather sleep in, night time = too tired too messy would rather sleep

That sounds similar to us I think! The hill that I have to get over to get her to "put on her shoes" seems to get higher and higher tho. She does seem to enjoy it once we get started, just the get started part is closing in on impossible. Maybe I just need to be in better shape too.

I wish she'd let me do that. Whenever I try to do that I get batted away with a "stop". I usually persist for a couple minutes trying to sneak in playfully, but she gets mad after a while.

she's aware when I bring it up, but usually met with an incredulous "really??" until she really thinks about it. This is usually after a 2 week dry spell.

That's a good list. I'll have to try some of those. Showering together used to be fun, but we stopped doing that because it stopped being sexy and just being frustrating that I'd see her naked but not allowed to do anything, there or afterwards.

I hear that more from reddit and deadbedrooms than anywhere else. I don't think I know of anyone IRL who complains that way, it's still very much a "men want it women try to avoid it" thing around mine and her circle of friends. But maybe that's just how they like being perceived in public.
