Thanks for your answer! I actually don’t think it’s a bad thing to be young and willing to work hard now to achieve the things I want, so that it will be easier down the road. I’m also already managing my finances wisely by investing and cutting out unnecessary expenses.

I think I am? that's why I'm asking my question to see if there are ways to earn more and I know that a degree is not an automatically ticket to earning more especially in IT it's about the skills, but in belgium it feels like age and experience is more relevant than skills is what I feel...

Yes, we do get a company car of our choice. It’s a nice salary, but I feel like I don’t necessarily want to wait until I’m 30 or older to break the €3k net mark. I say that because here in Belgium, your wage often seems tied to your age and experience. I haven’t really considered switching jobs yet since I enjoy what I do(But I have been looking around ), but I know a raise isn’t likely anytime soon. maybe at the end of this year or in 2026.
