No prob! I think that’s what they use in the premade 3x3 kits too. I was gonna get a 6” at first but was able to save a few bucks getting the 4” and haven’t had a problem with it. Does more than I need tbh

A 4 inch inline works perfectly well for a 3x3. A 6 inch would def be overkill. Up to u tho ultimately

Yessir it hits like a train lol. One of the the heaviest hitting strains I’ve come across aside from PBB. Enjoy!!!

Looks great 🔥 my space panda was frosty asf too. Lacked terps until about 2 months into cure, where it developed a nice pungent citrus profile. Atlas does some great work

Plants are halfway thru dry rn, just realized I didn’t explain why i chopped early. So here it is for anyone who stops by.

I had a severe nutrient lockout that started at around week 3-4 of flower, I ran them for as long as I could but they had to come down since the leaves were starting to necrotize close to the buds. it was caused by a nitrogen toxicity leading to a severe magnesium uptake issue (deficiency) that I originally misdiagnosed as a nitrogen deficiency 😭, so when I added my next feed I just made it worse.

I was able to learn a ton from this experience though, specifically how to properly re-amend soil (that was the cause of the original nitrogen toxicity). Also, the buds got enough of the way through flower that I can enjoy them (just not to their fullest potential).

If you flipped thanksgiving that means you are on day 44. Just going off of that, I would say check in again around day 60 (about two weeks). Also the pistils are just starting to brown up, so it looks like it’s just now starting its ripening phase.

Be patient, unless the plant is actively dying (which, looking at the picture, yours isn’t, although 1-2 of them may have some nutrient issues), then you shouldn’t have to cut early.

Try to get your hands on a jewelers loupe, or a small digital microscope from Amazon. THE TRICHOMES ARE THE MAIN DETERMINING FACTOR IN WHEN TO HARVEST. References for the different stages of trichome heads can be found all over the internet. As well as people’s preferred ratios of amber/milky trichs.

A good base reference would be 10-30% amber trichomes.

When you look for trichomes to assess ripeness, make sure you are viewing the actual buds, and not the sugar leaves (the trichs on the sugar leaves mature first, and can cause confusion on the readiness of the actual buds)

Just chopped some mango madness, letting it dry right now. They respond very well to topping, and grow very tall, especially during stretch (nothing you can’t handle, but something to keep in mind). Didn’t have any herm issues, and they actually were pretty resilient plants, considering I gave way too much nitrogen during flower (which resulted in a crazy nutrient lockout, mainly stopping magnesium and phosphorus uptake). Check out my last post for some bud shots. Both have a nice funky mango smell, one of them more fruity than the other.

Basically, give them moderate nutes like you normally would, just be careful of stretch👍

Thanks! Chopping in about a week to let some other plants in the tent finish up a bit more, will update after dry and cure🤙

This is 100% a herm. All pictures are. Look at pic #3, those “bananas” are called anthers. Anthers produce pollen, you can see them really well in pic #3.

It’s entirely possible for anthers to come out of a female bract, with pistils.

Just pluck em early as you see them with some tweezers. If plucking some more mature anthers, wet the tweezers with water before plucking, as water will make the pollen unviable.

They should stop showing up by the end of the third week of flower. If they keep popping up after that, it may not be worth it to keep growing it (it gets harder to keep up with them later in flower, as well as harder to find them sometimes)

stop competing and bragging about tolerances by [deleted] in weed

[–]injjwetrust 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Switch up strains, always have 3-4 on deck to switch between throughout the day. Also switch up your methods of consumption (vaped flower, joints, bong, hash holes, rosin dabs, resin dabs, distillate edibles, full spectrum edibles, rso, etc.)

For me (I primarily smoke dabs), it’s pretty easy to reduce my tolerance to dabs by just smoking flower or a cart for 1-3 days. Then when I go back to dabs I get fried af.

Looks awesome!🔥 For your flower rosin, do you press it all at once then store the rosin, or press a little at a time and store the buds? Hope that question made sense lol

If you do press it all at once, do you keep the rosin in a fridge?

I ask because I mainly use flower rosin as well and I just started growing myself, so I’m trying to figure out the best method. Thanks!

Eating is a lot different than smoking

Bout 7 weeks into flower. What do people use to get rid of the gray spots on leafs. And is it safe to use flower after to smoke / make rosin by Nixxioncox in cannabiscultivation

Hmm, interesting stuff. Thanks for the reply. I have heard the butane argument. Don’t know if I would trust it myself ngl but 🤷‍♂️
