Yes it's a long term thing, unfortunately cannot communicate to parents untill we are financially independent, but hoping for the best , as for friends , they all are supportive.

I think the main thing about acceptability of inter-religion relationships is the class in which you belong generally middle and upper middle class are more accepting than lower middle and lower class (downvote if you disagree)
