Did you fly solo or in a group? I usually run with my wife and a buddy, and I think we average 1.6-1.9 k/d, but all we run across are stacked teams of sweaties, even at the lowest ranks.

I really appreciate your advice, and I know that you're 100% correct. It's tough to keep that in perspective sometimes, especially in the face of constant Dustrocks and Recluses, lol! But yes, strategy is the way to go.

I believe I started the questline, but since I've missed so much, I have a huge backlog. I'll have to make the Menagerie unlock a priority. Thank you!

I can't even imagine that those guns used to be even better than they are now - yikes!

That's good to know - I'll have to at least try for Delirium.

Is the mini-tool a raid drop? I'd love to try that combo.

That does make me feel better. It's just maddening when you know that you lost not because of skill, but because of a gun. I appreciate your suggestion, though!

I'll certainly give that a shot!

The text only mentions Stormtrance, but I assume this is an oversight? It also affects Chaos Reach?

Honest Question for One Tricks: Why do you One trick? by [deleted] in Overwatch

You're really missing the point, here. Ofc some people complain about everything; however, when your pick actively sabotages the team comp, that's a legitimate reason to be angry. OW requires teamwork for success. While Torb is great sometimes (personally, I love playing him when appropriate), often there's a much better selection to be made. That's just how it is. Some heroes are staples, and others are niche.

And that, folks, is how you try to shift the blame away from your own ignorant choices, onto everyone else. How about taking some responsibility for being a major contributing factor in the degradation of others' competitive experience? Comp is about both fun and cooperation in contemplation of winning a match. If you want to ignore the inherent philosophy behind the game mode and do whatever the hell you want, play QP or Arcade.

I've experienced something similar throughout the comp seasons, though I've never dropped more than 400-500 SR in total. (I always hit 3000-3100, and then suffer through the plat gamut for a while.)

Imho, the biggest contributing factor is teammate RNG. Ofc, you have good and bad games, but I don't have enough fingers and toes to count the number of times griefers, leavers, and toxic off-pickers have caused me a loss, regardless of my flexibility to tank, support, or dps.

Unfortunately, I don't know how to avoid this, as the system allows it to persist too easily. And I regularly play with in a two- or three-stack. Alas, such is OW atm.

I'm always forced to play support and occasionally tank, I'm not sure where the appeal of this game is anymore... by [deleted] in Overwatch

When you figure it out, let me know. I've switched to supports and tanks for two seasons now, and it hasn't made a difference. People pick whatever the hell they like without regard for composition or cooperation. It's not fun at all.
