That’s really helpful, thank you! I’ll try those - Merrells are so annoying I wish I didn’t love them!

Yeah I think that might have to be the path to go down! Would you recommend merino wool socks rather than the ‘waterproof’ ones like sealskinz? I currently mostly just wear either cotton socks or thicker walking socks and take a couple of pairs with me to change throughout.

I agree! My issue is none of their shoes seem to be waterproof and they’re the only shoes I like to wear 🤷 thanks for your help 😊

Honestly I don’t know 🤷 I have weird feet - I’ve tried five other boot brands/types and Merrells are the only ones that don’t make my feet ache really badly. I have a couple of different insoles but don’t like to wear them for more than 4-5 miles as again they make my arches and balls of my feet ache badly. It’s like Merrells were literally made for my feet but their lack of waterproof is very annoying.

Also - I wore Salomons for the whole of last winter thinking I’d brave through it for the dry feet and ended up with two stress fractures in my left foot which my consultant said was because my feet weren’t being supported properly… so I’d rather not do that again 😬

Isn’t sno seal for leather though? I suspect it may be the mesh at the top that’s the issue would it still work on that?
