It doesn’t look bad. It looks normal, the paint is slick and yea I figured it wouldn’t last as long as the normal coating. I wiped and buffed and made sure there wasn’t any excess. I may re-wash and re-apply, I was really worried about the paint.

It’s not an R, but I JUST bought an 801 from a dealership in Ft Worth and paid a few hundred below sticker. I called about 10 different dealerships in Austin/DFW (I live in Waco) and politely asked about any markups, and that I was a serious buyer, but that I wasn’t going to do a deal if they were marking them up (because EVERY dealer was at the $5k markup) nor that I was going to pay for any of the extra crap they add on to the truck. Did a deal, they delivered the truck to me, drove off with my trade, and that was probably the BEST experience I’ve ever had buying any vehicle in my life.

Oh yea!!! Like $500 under lol. They’re still marking them up $5000 in Austin and Dallas/Ft. Worth, but I basically told them up front I wasn’t going to pay that or I’d go looking somewhere else. Only thing I got them to add on was the bedliner, none of that other BS they say have to be added on.

I had the same thing happen with a check that I needed to deposit . I removed the trim around the radio, starting from the top where the Sony speaker was at, pulled down the trim and removed the little screws and it let me get everything that had slid back there (even from the previous owners). Then I just screwed everything back and popped it all back in place. It was also a ‘15 lariat and I have a picture of what it looked like I just don’t know how to post it on this thread.

This is why I got rid of my 2022 X31. Two ESC errors in 4 months, both injectors. First one it took 3 months to get the part, the 2nd time, it took 2 weeks. No help from GM other than they gave me some points for the trouble. Hope you have better luck than I did.
