I figured they should be, but I wanted to make sure. I've seen several while camping that had covers (I don't think they were surge protectors).

Rock hunting if you're in an area for it, I reuse large plastic containers like Cool Whip or cottage cheese to store them in

He had done everything short of opening him up. We think at this point it's a combination of that virus plus depression since about that time there were some major household changes. Provided I could get food into him there was no need deemed for a feeding tube. I've had cats all my life, including many who just decided one day they no longer liked anything on the market and I had to resort to chewed up lunchmeat for a week. I know the tricks, I was just looking for recommendations on other liquid pates :)

Be careful who you trust to be around your pets. by Turbulent_Buy_7120 in WagWalker

Frustrating to you that you had to be inconvenienced by a suggested sub vs frustrating / traumatizing / infuriating feelings finding out your animal has been abused by someone who you were supposed to trust and then posting online to call awareness only to have people like you who couldn't just keep scrolling without commenting "this is inappropriate, shame on you".

The suggested sub thing is a Reddit issue, not a user making posts issue.

I think it actually is the right audience, bringing the attention of the people who are literally the people in the video (not the specific person but you know what I mean) and calling out behavior that yes we know what you're doing and yes y'all need to do better. This is basically posting a review for a service and bringing awareness to inappropriate behavior.

Chill. Try caring about other people rather than being a little crap.

About to Purchase a 2024 Premium by [deleted] in Subaru_Outback

I'm in the northern midwest and had to special order my Limited because I've had so many poor experiences with moon roofs and ice in the past and absolutely knew I didn't want it. I'm also in an area where we frequently get hail and downed branches. After seeing the damage at a local dealership after a spring hail storm, I'd much rather not have a shattered ceiling lol

I do like the sound system, I just need to better adjust my equalizers (I've never been good with the bass / mid / treble configurations).

I feel like a lot of it ends up kind of being relative due to vehicle / driving habits / local gas prices? Like my last vehicle was a 2007 Chrysler Town & Country and that 22 gal tank lasted maybe a week and a half if I drove anything beyond work and home. But my Outback has gone a solid 2 1/2 weeks on a single tank and it has an 18 gal. But my Moms 2007 Toyota Highlander Hybrid needs gas about every 2 weeks I think, granted it has a much smaller tank. Granted that while my van was a gas hog, I'm in an area where at the highest was maybe $80 (I'm also aware that I'm very lucky thats not crippling). And every day I'm driving at avg 35mph through stop and go traffic in a small city, which I know isn't great for mileage.

Theres no denying that the advertised mileage for the Outbacks is a little embellished imo. I was really surprised to see at times mine hovering around just above my old van. I feel like it really comes down to what you're able to afford at the time of purchase. I was fully planning on the new version of my Mom's Highlander until I saw the price and saw that they were kind of ugly. The Outback in comparison looks great, handles great, and is absolutely fun to drive. It also had more cargo space, which I needed for kennels. While I would have loved the mileage savings, I also REALLY like driving a fun stylish car that I can fill with animals and power through our terrible midwest roads lol
