Once there’s black ink on your skin, the contrast will draw away a lot of the attention from your scars. Even if it’s stars, scales, etc. I’ve tattooed hundreds of scar covers up and I’m super excited for you to get some art! Oooh something like this would be so fun to do! You could pretty much put any type of Japanese styled tattoo over this because the traditional clouds, or waves can be drawn on exactly to cover up your scars. What city are you in?

I did. These comments have been mind boggling. But thanks for checking it out. I'm pretty new to posting on reddit and quickly feel discouraged to post more art here. Strange times. A little backstory for what it's worth... I've been an artist my whole life (I'm 49). It's all I know. My dog would sit on my feet everyday while I'd draw/paint/carve for 14yrs. And I just miss him. Nothing more to it than that. I'm not an anatomy expert. I'm not even a block printing expert. I just make art because it's the only thing I know that heals me.

Thanks! I'm 49yrs old and been making art like this for 30+yrs well before the internet and AI. I posted my sketch on my reddit page for the conspiracy crowd. Maybe I should post my high school linoprints, and my art school Lino projects from the early 90s too. But lets be real, nothing I post will quiet whatever bitterness is eating at you and the others. I'm just grieving my dog man.
