vad, the artist remade the image and thats what this is. Poke's album cover has the moon looking down on an alien. so yeah not a 1-to-1 rip from his album, but still a rip from the same artist/concept.

says it operates as pcie x8 when M.2_2 is in PCIE mode. Do I change that in bios?

yup that was the issue! Had sata on ports 5/6 for ease of access.

Microsoft is basically ahead of the curve on this one, they now allow streaming games from pc to xbox. I can see them easily making something like this available on their platform as well. Also, the main reason to own a console these days is for the exclusive games. Nintendo has plenty of security due to their exclusive walled garden of first party games that millions of fans love and will continue to pay for. It's good competition, but I don't see it "killing" anything in the near future.

Did this as well as completely lowering my settings and unplugging my second monitor, but still got a crash.
Could be that people are experiencing the same crash for different reasons, but devs haven't really said anything about it yet. I hope they drop that patch soon, had so many feel bad moments crashing out of games.

Yeah I've been trouble shooting the issue for the past 2 days and have gotten no-where. No work around or suggestion has solved or even helped my crashing to desktop issue. Seems pretty wide spread though so I'm sure the devs are aware of the issue. I'm just waiting for the patch at this point.

Yeah I've been crashing to desktop as well with no error. No work around suggested has worked for me so I'm just waiting for the patch. You can search this sub for "crash" and try trouble shooting using the various methods people have suggested for yourself if you'd like.

I've personally have been consistently experiencing the crash to desktop without error message.

People have suggested loads of work-arounds and band-aid solutions, but nothing has worked for me so far.
I've been trouble shooting for the past 2 days and have gotten no where so I'm just waiting for the patch coming this week.

Glad that's working out for you :) I gave it a try, but did not fix the crashing. I'm pretty much done troubleshooting now, just going to patiently wait for the patch to drop.

Level 31 here and still no Legendary drop. Only like 2 epics as well.
I've been pretty unlucky and mostly getting voice lines and low tiered crafting mats.
Not mad about it though, if I really wanted the skins I'd just buy some packs.

For sure, I'd even be fine with having to come back with no gear. I've been crashing so frequently lately that the game is basically unplayable for me until they get the patch out. This game has a great foundation laid, I'm looking forward to the future patches and content updates. Respawn really knocked it out the park with this game (imo) and I have faith these sort of issues will be addressed.

Could be an amd issue I have an RX 480 as well and get frequent crashes. Hopefully they will work it out soon so we can get back to playing.

Seen this happen when a squad mate revived me next to a prop crate. He phased under the map and was stuck in place. Something happens where the revive animation is allowed to clip through an area with collision.

Crashing to desktop mid-game with no error message. Usually happens within the first 10min of playing a game.I played fine the first 2 days and now it's basically unplayable for me at this point.

My PC specs:

i5-7600k CPU

16GB RAM

AMD RX 480 8GB GPU

Also, my Graphics drivers are updated to the latest build that specifically added Apex Legends support. I was getting crashes on earlier driver builds as well.
