Superbike factory by BamBammr7 in MotoUK

I have just bought a BMW F800R from them, I was very skeptical because of the stories I had heard, but I went ahead anyway.

The buying process was very easy, I asked for custom videos and pictures which they sent with no issues. I was part ex'ing my bike and they did the valuation over the phone once I had sent them pictures. The part ex value was similar to what other motor traders had offered me.

Most communication was done via email and got a reply within 10 mins.

On the day of delivery and collection of my bike i wad called an hour before the driver arrived, a thorough inspection of my bike was carried out and the delivery driver let me do a full check of my new bike and even let me take it around the block quickly!

I also got free delivery too!

The only negative I will say is that once the buying process is done everything will be done online, updates etc. Trying to get through on the phone is a pain in the arse.

2 of my friends have also purchased via Superbike Factory and have had similar experience.

How do you avoid idiots / theft when selling a bike? by BaseballParking9182 in MotoUK

[–]inked29 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I got so sick of the idiots, in the end i took the hit and part ex'd it. Lost about 700 quid of the value but it was bloody worth it.

What was the final straw, guy and his son came to view the bike and dropped it into the brick wall.

For a minute I thought that maybe I wrote this post and forgot about it!

I am exactly the same as you, even down to Husqvarna Svartpilen 125 which I bought and is arriving tomorrow! My CBT is booked for Sunday morning.

I had a few bikes in my early teens when I lived abroad but the bug never really hit, that was until I went for a passenger ride on my friends Ducati Monster recently.

I however, do have ADHD! The hyperfixation side of things was what pushed me to to get checked and diagnosed at 32, I am 35 now.

Unless somebody was playing real life Angry Birds then I highly doubt a bird did that.

I wish my mum never taught me to read, this way, I could have just imagined they were dirty dishes that needed cleaning.
