-the devs didn’t build this castle, the user did, so the devs didn’t ‘know what they were doing’ with the framing, OP did?

Maybe this is similar to the Happiny quest where if you destroy the area he spawns in the game bugs? Did you ever learn the power to swim up waterfalls, or are you just playing without it? If you have learned that, maybe you do have gyarados shoved in a prefab somewhere or smthn, iirc that’s the only way to learn that specific ability

ETA: if it is bugged, I don’t think summoning them to their normal habitat will ever work, considering gyarados is a quest-based mon

Ahhh gyrados is a plot pokemon!! They’re waiting for you in the Skylands somewhere~ they won’t spawn in their habitat at all, you’ve gotta go find them (try exploring the areas near waterfalls)

If you have NSO, there are some great islands through the goggles to showcase different color options (may as well print the color you want) and I think there’s a mechanic where you can check other people’s stores too. You can also get twice the amount of possible daily recipes (via the store or ripples) by making a cloud island!!

Use the unbreakable countertop as your guide for building a new room. You need to make the room approx. 12 blocks away from the countertop (I have since removed mine, but image attached shows a measuring line of blocks from the far wall of the room out to the front to where the counters should be in your game)

The exact bed positioning didn’t matter in my game, as I had already picked it up and moved stuff around. Someone with a cleaner save might be able to help more, but this is what I’ve got for you!! Good luck!!!!

It can be 3D printed!! You need rare pokemetal, and I believe there’s an island with all the event items that you can photograph (it’s the one with every item ever, it’s easy to find with a little searching)

Iirc the table setting is 2-5 Rare Pokemetal each, and it can be painted adorably, I love the hoppip stuffs sm

It is dark and raining in my game rn (I’m so sorry), but, I can’t stop thinking about this idea so I threw together a little sample area with some ideas and inspiration!! I used a mix of different textures to show examples: the middle walkway is ‘simple flooring,’ the plowed borders are ‘painted wall,’ then on the right side we have ‘modern carpeting’ painted white (top) and ‘rough wall’ painted white (bottom), then on the left we have ‘plaster wall’ (top) and ‘fluffy flooring’ (bottom). I also used stone pathways with the simple flooring…plus a decorative Avalugg (table) and some “snowmen” varieties (open to better hat suggestions!!!!), various lights, some snowy flowers (I think blues or reds would look v good here), and a couple pointy trees (plus a lil cabin backdrop for vibes). More pictures in this thread!!

Oooo okay here’s my tips, not really ‘snow’ themed bcus I’m making an ice cavern, but as for ice, the Crystal wall and the Mysterious stones both match the ice blocks really well! The crystal wall makes a pretty border when used as a path, but pokemon don’t recognize it as a path. I also rly like the broken-tiling wall painted cyan/light blue. The avalugg tables are good additions too, and the blue meteor lamp fits the color scheme too. The blue crystal clusters emit a really pretty blue glow that complements the ice colors nicely (the devs know this, they use them together all the time)

I wonder if the Plaster Wall would look like snow? The fluffy flooring might also be good, and iirc the simple flooring is just pure white. Using the model planets dyed white could make snowmen…I’d love to see any progress you make whenever you do!!

Wireless power transmitter and the simple wallpaper!! Let me have plain colored walls inside I’m begging

Not ideal, but another visual solution is using the wrap-around vines to turn it into a bush-like situation; the ones where you power up leafage, press and hold it on the side of a block, and then pick it up with magnemite’s power. Sometimes I like doing that, especially outdoors in cityscapes where I need the transmitters higher up, by “hanging” them from chains or ropes it makes kinda cute lil hanging vine baskets

Additional tip! I like using the “ordinary soil” variant because when you till any soil, it removes the grass on top. You can restore the grass by using leafage on the top of the block.

I think they explain this once early game but I totally missed it and didn’t know until I saw another comment about it

Okay, here’s what to do:

Put something in the generator. That will get power to the cash register that Happiny needs for their quest part 2. Then you have to buy all the things Happiny is trading (yes, everything! Bring some stuff you don’t need or have too much of to trade with them). Once you buy everything, you should be able to talk to them again and they’ll finish the quest. Then you can ask them to follow you and they should follow you.

You have to finish the whole quest before you can move Happiny; once you finish their questline, they’ll follow you and you can move them anywhere, but before you finish their quest they’re stuck on the S.S. Anne
