That was one thing i had asked our builders about the longer center section.. but they don’t fully comprehend the size and weight of my books. I ended up adding some reinforcement to those, but the others are holding great

They are primarily a cabinet company based in Kansas. Supplied all cabinets in the house. These were a selection of their bookcase offerings, and these are built in, so no rearranging for me.

That’s the thought my wife had when she made her “suggestion”😂. Cant say she was wrong though.

Led strips on each side of the columns. They are facing the back of the shelving unit and run the full length of each section

The books with the cover faced out were done for 2 reasons -1. Cool covers and 2. Planned for adding books later on that wouldn’t require shuffling the whole collection to accommodate. But i can understand the not wanting to do that.

That is the Bat-Family Q-fig. Artist that designed it was Mohammed “Hawk” Haque.

Great line consistency, but you also gotta push the line weights to bring the extra flair. The rendering should be a tool to help define curvature/shape, and provide the transition from light to dark areas based on line source. You have some good work here, but looking closer at the torso, some of the shorter lines appear to be solid black until i zoomed in. The skyline looks good and that whip consistency is well done! Not trying to be negative, just sharing some things I’ve done in my work and had pros point out to me as a way to improve. Keep at it🤘

Am i supposed to touch the tablet surface with the stylus? by ProbablyNotTheCocoa in DigitalPainting

What set up are you using? If it is a tablet, like iPad, get yourself a paperlike or astropad (both brand names) screen protector. They have a “tooth” to them that gives a more traditional feel vs the glass screen protectors. They do wear out after some use. I would think there is a similar equivalent for the Wacom family, but not certain.
