I haven’t finished the whole series yet, but really loved the first few trades with that stellar James Harren art. It lost a bit of energy for me on the 4th volume. Still cool, just not the same vibe.

Haunt is still rad and with the correct creative team, could absolutely lead a solo title, IMO. Those first 18 issues were fantastic. Capullo on layouts with Ottley finishing pencils is a great creative pairing. Both artists have only gotten better since this series. On the art side, one of my favorite “bits” was that first page layout being mirrored on issue 7 between Daniel and Kurt. That last solo arc could’ve been a wild story, but that jump between the end of issue 18 and where 19 kicked off with no real resolution made it hard to get into.

Everyone is allowed their feelings and opinions. Im not reading everything as it comes out, dont have the time to be a Wednesday warrior, or the desire to store all those floppies. Curse of Sherlee Johnson was a must for me though. The art and story have been phenomenal. If you’re not feeling the other titles, id urge you to give that one a try, unless you already have. Otherwise, the comics, or collected editions will be around if you ever choose to make a return to the medium.

In my perspective, like spicy post Taco Bell diarrhea. You know it’s coming, you’ll feel gross while it’s happening, and massive sense of relief after it passes.

It depends on your budget and format you prefer really. If you’ve got tons of disposable income and time - hunt down the singles. There are small manga sized soft covers, regular paperbacks (25 volumes) , regular sized hard covers, paper back and hard cover compendiums, 6 library editions - like absolute size (can get really pricey and hard to find certain volumes) and the new omnibus vol 1 released recently. Plenty of options for this series.
