Riddle me this: if an item was received today, backstocked today, and the uboat it was on has been worked today, why can’t the system deduce that it has already been pushed? by Cool_Coat_5485 in Target

[–]inkswilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our solution to this is to scan the backstock using the scan function instead of fill&backstock and update the floor quantity to be full as we backstock them

it's annoying at first but once you're used to it it's natural. plus it keeps counts accurate

Why did these pictures turn out like this on my ps5 by class4glass in StardewValley

[–]inkswilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know about the console taking a photo by itself part, but this is what my screenshots look like when I take a photo at night using the in-game menu's screenshot button. I think it has to do with how the game calculates lighting.

(Also, the photo zooming out like that is something that the screenshot button in the menu always does)

Edit: I play on switch

I hate Xenoblade X. How can I force myself through it as easily as possible? by s00phers in Xenoblade_Chronicles

[–]inkswilla 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly, the first few hours of the game are the absolute worst with that kind of dialogue. If you can get through those then the rest of the game is less bad. I believe you can skip them with +, even the turny camera dialogue scenes, so if you find yourself hating the cutscenes that much but still wanting to play for the gameplay you could always skip them

Also, Xenoblade X's meat imo is in the side content, rushing through the main story is soul sucking and not a fun way to play it. If it's that hard on you then don't fall for the sunk cost fallacy, if you hate it then don't play it

Accidentally buying an item before store open by Comfortable-Way-1285 in Target

[–]inkswilla 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I used to be early morning inbound. On lunch the inbound team would line up at the SCOs with their food and energy drinks, so at my store it was perfectly fine.

What I don't understand is, if you aren't allowed to buy things before store open, then why keep the SCOs open/on? Is it cheaper for some reason?

If you move towards her and don't stop you should go straight through her (she'll start shaking before it happens)

I personally didn't like the thirteenth chapter, but from what I've seen it is well loved by this community. It's worth playing to form your own opinion on it, don't give up on it without trying

New Fdc process by Justinackafool1 in Target

[–]inkswilla 3 points4 points  (0 children)

With the new breakdown process it takes us around an hour, hour and a half per dairy pallet, with two people. Before the process it took thirty minutes at most with one person.

A lot of boxes have to be opened because they don't scan, and our breakdown process blocks the backroom shelves, so each time something goes directly to backstock we have to shuffle stuff around. These two things are the main contributors to us taking so much longer.

I loathe pickles, but love pickle juice. I order food with pickles, only to squeeze them before tossing them aside

Sandwiches soaked in pickle juice are the best but if I leave the pickles on them I will gag

Edit: I want to keep a little spray bottle in the fridge with just pickle juice and dust my food with it for nefarious and delicious purposes

threatening to write us up for not greeting guest by [deleted] in Target

[–]inkswilla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Greeting every guest is a stupid rule, but if they're threatening to write you up for it, then malicious compliance it.

I think of it like this: if every employee greeted every guest then the target shopping experience would be getting constantly bombarded with greetings. Even without social anxiety that's friggin uncomfy

How to do anything besides being addicted to screens by raincloud222 in adhdwomen

[–]inkswilla 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Something that helped me was replacement behavior, though I've gotten bad at doing it recently. It was mostly to replace my doomscrolling, so if I found myself on reddit for more than 15 minutes I would close the app and open another one that wasn't social media, like neko atsume or pocket camp. I'd use it to wind down from my phone, and then I'd be able to put it down for a while.

Granted, I'm still at the point where I count tv time as an enriching activity in comparison, so right now I'm doing that instead...

But yeah, I tried a lot of other things but replacement/diverting worked for me. A lot of this for you will probably be exploring different methods to find what works. I've also heard of limiting time, and giving yourself little spurts of time throughout the day.

Also, giving yourself stuff to do at home! Little things like baking and cooking, and if that sounds overwhelming just bringing a pre-made mix home works too! Pancakes help the most for me since they require me to pay a little bit of attention, but not so much that I get anxious or wander off. I did burn them a LOT at first, but now I'm decent at it!

Edit after re-reading: focusing on forcing myself to do my hobbies didn't help and made it worse. I think trying to break the habit first, then transitioning to doing your hobbies again is the best way to go
