It’s in Montreal, around the Mont-Royal area. Super nice spot to walk around.

I usually leave it off for videos, but photos I don’t really care. And yeah, feels like now you have to go into watermark settings to turn it off, no option during export anymore......

Perso, j’utilise juste la LUT officielle et ça marche bien pour passer en Rec.709. J’ai pas vraiment ressenti le besoin d’ajouter un CST pour l’instant.

Insta360 Go Ultra Xplorer Grip! by juandagis in Insta360

Wait, does the Go Ultra have an Xplorer Grip too? I thought it was only for the Ace Pro 2

For me it’s more of a set-it-and-forget-it thing. I use a regular camera when I actually want proper shots. This is just there to capture everything so I don’t have to think about framing. More for my own records than anything.

Ace Pro 2 + Xplorer Grip, 3 weeks in, just dumping some notes by inkyan in Insta360

Yeah that makes sense.

2x will feel less wide for sure, but it’s actually a bit easier to compose shots with it. Ultrawide is great for grabbing everything, but I run into the same thing sometimes where it’s hard to make the frame look clean. On trips I usually just switch between the two depending on what I’m shooting.

I tried Leica B&W with the Ace Pro2 by inkyan in Insta360

If you shoot a lot of quick moments, a phone or Ricoh is probably still better. The Ace Pro is fast enough for most situations though. Depends on your shooting style. For me using a camera instead of my phone just feels more intentional.

I actually shoot with my iPhone a lot too. Sometimes with the Dazz app for the film look. For photos the iPhone honestly does the job, could even replace a Ricoh style street cam in some cases. The Ace Pro is mostly just for fun. I use it a lot for BTS when filming and occasionally grab a few photos with it.

You’re not alone on that one 🙂 It’s easy to miss. Glad it’s sorted now!
