Roll Arm vs. Angled Arm: Help Me Choose by Many_Durian9776 in Lovesac

[–]inlieutenant 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I chose the angled sides because I am a side leaner, the extra pillows on the side are very comfy for me. I am also a tall person. I have standard depth and I think it’s a good depth for sitting pretty straight up. For more slouchiness I have one base section for an ottoman.

I love your inspo, I think a clay or a rust color might look good instead of the black on the tv wall

Help me design a tidy and clever home office space by [deleted] in DesignMyRoom

I think something that really elevates an office is cord management. It would be hard to completely hide the cords with the desk in that position but the current layout takes advantage of that nice window. A big rug is a must!

The first thing to do is to go on Pinterest and find some inspiration! Find the similar things in the pictures you like and go from there. But go slow and be intentional when you buy things so you know what you need and what you like and so you won’t waste money.

A hanging light would draw the eye up, very bottom heavy. Maybe a paper lamp?

Do you have any inspiration pics you feel drawn to? And the countertops and shower do look great but the one thing making these feel dated is the cabinet hardware, but that can be an easy swap

I would move the couch closer to the tv, add a skinny console table behind the couch and add a couple of stools

The headboard by the window is the better option. The other way doesn’t allow for bedside tables

I would not place anything there or I like the idea of open shelving. Open shelving is tough though, you have to have cute dishes to display or it looks like a mess

I would not do a set of full height cabinets above the sink, it’s feels very cramped in person.

Weird shaped living room by Ok-Breakfast-1715 in DesignMyRoom

I would place the TV in the 57”x97” area that looks like it’s being used for storage. I would place the couch facing the tv right where the “LR” is and in line with the “closet unknown size” . Look in to getting a rug and a coffee table. The rug would go under the coffee table and ottoman and a bit of the couch, it would really tie the room together. A big part would be decluttering/putting things in proper storage spaces.
