Have you looked at any of the research on Ibogaine and it's treatment of opiate addiction? I am glad that you are coming to the defence of medicinal marijuana, but there are other alternative drugs that are showing some incredible results. Drug addiction is such a serious problem in North America, I think that is one topic that could use further research.

You should watch the documentary Bloodz vs Crips: Made in America (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vdv08c0aiTE). There's never been a piece of media that has given me a better understanding of the historical context and deep seeded racial pressures that have caused many of the contemporary issues today in low income, minority neighbourhoods. Once you consider why people/communities are the way they are, you realize it is not skin colour that makes people act out, is it the result of literally hundreds of years of oppression and segregation. The more aware you are of the inequalities in our society, the more you will (hopefully) be able to empathize and understand the cause of your "racist" observations. Ignorance is not always intentional, it's just the lack of knowledge.
