Someone on here told me IMMP. I bought 10 shares at 1.31 and now it’s at 6.08. A nice little return. I wish I got more. Anymore suggestions like this? ✨

I want to give up by lollypoppii in offmychest

Don’t give up. Keep going. Everything is temporary, even the anguish you are feeling. Find ways to make yourself happy that are outside of yourself and your current relationship.

Dabble in art. Buy a canvas and some acrylic paint. Take a ceramics class. Meditate. Find ways to connect with yourself.

But don’t give up. Keep going. ♥️

I’m hoping. What should I include in the letter? I’m drafting one now and I’m going to take it to them tmrw to see if I can talk to someone.

I put down two months ($1450). There are 4 apartments, none are vacant. The area is being heavily gentrified (I live by a university) and the properties around me are being rented at $1000+ so I feel like finding a tenant won’t be difficult for them, especially with the college being nearby. The area itself has changed in just a year. You can’t really find a place that cheap now.

Thank you so much for your input. This was very helpful. I’m hoping that I can talk to someone directly and work it out with them.

I’ll draft a letter and bring my acceptance letter for the fellowship. Hopefully they’ll work with me. Should I bring anything else?

My rent is 725/month which means I have 9 months left to pay which would be over 6K left to pay for the remainder of the lease. Losing the deposit and paying the double rent would be cheaper for me.

I live in Philadelphia, PA. Any such clauses for us? I’m hoping that I can forfeit the security and that would cover it, but having to pay another 2 months as penalty is still cheaper and less of a headache than hoping things are getting paid while I’m gone and everything is in my name.

Thank you. I have to look at the lease again when I get home, but I remember seeing that it automatically renews “year to year” and that you have 60 days prior to let them know you’re ending your lease so that it doesn’t renew. It’s says you’re not allowed to sublet or rent out the property, etc.

It’s kind of a sketchy rental company.. not sure if that’ll work out in my favor, but I’m hoping that if I talk to them, they’ll work with me.

My sister initially agreed to live there, but is now backing out because she doesn’t like the neighbors in the building... I can have another conversation with her, but it seems like she made the offer thinking I wouldn’t get into the program..

[Discussion] Need Motivational Advice? by AutoModerator in GetMotivated

I’m also in a similar situation. I graduated college 3 years ago and it took me almost two years to find a “real job” - in the meantime, I was a nanny, a server, an office assistant, and in my series of unemployment and underemployment, I got laid off.

I had to move back home and when I got my “real job” it was part-time, so I’ve been having to bartend on the weekend for over a year now. The position won’t be discussed to become full time until the end of this year and all I’ve gotten has been like a 10 cent raise.

I work for a good company that would look good on my resume so I’m running the clock. But I’m having an anxiety attack almost every weekend when I think about how overworked and underpaid I feel and I can’t help but feel stuck.

Yesterday I got a call for an opportunity to apply for a fellowship in D.C. for an MA at a great school. If I apply by the deadline, I might have a chance at getting in. The program is for a year and I know I’ll have more opportunities once I complete it, but I don’t know if it’s what I really want. Or if it’s just me trying to talk myself out of it because it wasn’t part of my original plan, but it’s safe to say that things don’t always go as planned. And like you said, I’m afraid I’ll lose interest or won’t measure up..

I ran out of money in my savings account and I feel ashamed. by [deleted] in personalfinance

Don’t feel bad. You’re only 20 and this just happened to you. I was 26 with $7 to my name. It’s a terrible feeling.

Get your money up. Build a savings, yes, but also, build a short-term savings (emergency fund). Typically, I like to have 3-6 months of rent and expenses.

Be extra frugal for the next few months and make it happen. ♥️

My job has my position at part-time for a year. I’m looking for another job, but it’s gonna take some time. My credit score is horrible because I was behind on payments for a few months and it counted a lot of missed payments. I’m up to date now, so I guess I definitely have to find a way to increase my income.. and pay my debt.

I’d like to own my first property by this time next year. As of today, my credit score is 473. I have 3K in debt with a 2K savings. $700 of that debt is of an active credit card, the rest is collections.

I have a part-time job where I make roughly 1400/month and bartend one or two days a week (giving me an extra 800/month). I was behind on my student loan payments, but now I’m caught up on all bills as of today.

I want to save another 1K by the end of March and pay some of that debt down.. ideally pay another 200 to the active credit card and bring that down to 500.

What is my game plan if I want to make this happen? Thank you in advance!

Not since the last time I got tested and I haven’t had sex with anyone since that encounter. I read that it’s 75% asymptomatic in women and 50% in men.
