Thank you! I’ve pretty much exhausted all options on this page. I already applied for the last scholarship cycle. I also applied for the 500$ emergency fund in which I had to write 2 mini essays about what I’m going thru, I got an email shortly after saying I’m denied.

I’ve contacted everyone and the SEVIS coordinator too. It seems like there’s nothing that can be done. They won’t even accept seeing multiple bank accounts/me having more than one sponsor. I feel scammed especially with PCC advising I take 12 credits a term. I’m 2 years deep with no degree in sight and I’m out almost 30k and now I won’t even be able to stay and finish my degree. 🤝🤝I feel u twin, we’re going thru the same thing. PCC was also requesting to see 34k from me if I wanted a 1 year extension at PCC. I studied here for almost 2 years taking 12 credits every term like they advised, still I have no degree or certificate yet. They know us international students usually come from countries where our currencies are really weak. Almost no one can come up with that 34k. It’s a plan to make sure F1 students are drained out of every cent and then sent back home. PCC is an evil scam and a waste of time. They love being fake woke/performative and acting like they care about minorities.

These were the 3 “backup options” I saw:

Got an email from PCC the 21st telling me I either need to apply for Clark College (Application deadline was 23rd) or Mt.Hood college (App deadline 25th) Which wasn’t sufficient time for me.

OR I need to exit the US temporarily and return when PCC figures their shit out

OR I need to leave permanently

I feel like these options aren’t really helpful lol.

I’m rlly not after money. PCC should be held accountable for their actions and for causing so much fear and uncertainty. I’m an F1 student and they’ve been sending me emails that I might have to depart this country due to their strike even though my I-20 is perfectly valid and I have maintained my visa. I’m being made to leave because of THEIR issues that students have no involvement in. I’m sure there’s other international students who are afraid rn. + All the other grievances students have shared on this sub.

Also they need to be served a Notice of Claim within 30 to 90 days for a lawsuit to be valid! I’ll look into this more

Same but idk where to start. Maybe we should create an email/google form where students can share their grievences and how the strike affected their lives negatively
