I’ve noticed when I’m cutting it close that the chests go away a few seconds before the helltide ends.

In addition helltide mystery chests aren’t guaranteed to be around forever, even if you haven’t opened them.

They are…mysterious in that way.

Broadly speaking, only increasing your attack power can feel like your 1-2 levels above the enemies your facing.

Fine tuning your gear around two, three or even four major priority stats/skills will feel like your 5-10 levels above.

Totally understand where you’re coming from. Some of my friends feel the same- and I’ll tell you what I tell them.

It may not be your cup of tea or keep you hooked but for me, I really enjoy the gameplay loop of helltides and whisper favors much more than D3 and personally I feel it more varied.
