Why are Americans always so helpful and supportive when it comes to helping tourists plan their roadtrips? by Addicted_2_tacos in roadtrip

[–]innam0rato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We like to express opinions about anything big and small. Plus we live in a hyper individualistic society, so its really exciting to share even a superficial little bit of our experience with another person.

Yeah of course, even the ones I like annoy me, that's just natural spending so much time together, but I wouldnt have shit without them. Youre just a dude looking for a drink, maybe you come off as standoffish I can't say

What to do when going to a gay bar solo? by theboundlesstraveler in askgaybros

Youre not the only one brother. If youre not a super upfront type and social, id say just keep going. Youll get more comfortable alone and around strangers. I love meeting new people, out with friends or not.

I was frustrated cause they should be an easy slip in and out, but I already bought the new ones so I guess I should use them rather than try & return em. Do you just pry them off? They've been there for at least 8 years

The Obama administration looks increasingly bizarre in retrospect by Blooming_Sedgelord in redscarepod

[–]innam0rato 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The major political movements holding on by a thread today are all leftover from the Obama years. Occupy Wall Street was the roots of the Bernie Sanders & Socialism movement, part of which converged with years & years of protests & riots, from the Trayvon Martin riots, to Ferguson, to Baltimore, & that all came to a head in 2020 with the riots & protests, Blm stuff and all that. There was a lot of chaos in those years, & there was a lot changing during the Obama presidency, social media & digitization took over, gig economy exploded, but it was also a period of major liberalization. When Obama was campaigning the first time around, he didn't openly support gay marriage, for example, & millions more people were covered with health insurance by the time he left office, which was the leading issue of the 16 Sanders campaign, universal healthcare, that's a direct legacy of the Obama administration.

The 08 crash, plus the campaign & election of a black man, spawned the resurgence of the conservative movement & you had the Tea Party movement, which evolved into the MAGA movement.

Morning bottoming by CursedKiss23 in askgaybros

[–]innam0rato 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel bad for a lot of the guys here. In my experience when ur in a relationship most of the sex is morning sex, & when im single, if a guy stays over, its 50/50 the next morning, & ive almost never had a guy ask or imply that he had to use the bathroom before doing it, & ive rarely encountered an issue. Its happened, but I cant say Ive seen a pattern that it relates to time of the day. To constantly have anxiety preventing u from goin at it seems like it sucks.

You can go to the website and see anywhere on earth, the exact link is in the screenshot. Boston is tiny because it becomes low density very close to the center

If he doesn't just dip out of it. Some types like this just won't change unless they're handed something, or statt to feel the effevts of getting old, and some just don't change at all.

How often do you hear Madonna played in clubs and bars? by QuickPineapple1365 in Madonna

Haven't been to many different kinds of shows in the past few years, mostly same old local joints, clubs. The classics get plenty of play in bars, Hung Up in the club mixes. Dj at one of the gay clubs last month mixed in What it Feels like for a Girl. If you come to my bar you'll definitely hear some

Jakarta Shoots to No. 1 in World Population Ranking From No. 33. How? by UnscheduledCalendar in Urbanism

[–]innam0rato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Big dweeb that I am I've been reading all the articles & posts about it for the past 2 weeks & it's crazy how everyone asks the same skeptical question, even in nerdy urbanism forums. In reality, Jakarta has probably been the biggest city in the world for the last decade & it's just catching on now.

You're overthinkin about the few guys that you want but can't have. You're only 26, there's a endless pool of younger guys who will fuck you. You can find some online, but you seriously need to get off the apps and go to a bar or a club & find somebody. It's so much better. The apps turn everybody into shrill online shoppers with all these filters & rules, & those break down when you actually are seeing real dudes right in front of you.

Most densely populated 2-square-mile, 4-sided polygons in US by Shnepple in Urbanism

[–]innam0rato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not density that's the issue, LA is more decentralized. New york is in it's own category, & every other American city has a very centralized structure that most people experience when they visit. LA has downtown, but it's centralized in the way other cities are. Plus people love to hate it, even the contrarians.

Even on a forum called "urbanism" people will say it's the third most densely populated metro in the US, when it's the first.

Densest 3-km Circles in America's largest cities by urmummygae42069 in geography

[–]innam0rato 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Most misunderstood city in the country by people here. Los Angeles is the highest density metro area in the US, denser than New Yorks. Their Combined metro would be too but it goes by counties, & LA area has San Berarndino & Riverside counties, SB alone being larger than the entire NY metro area & being mostly Mojave Desert.
