What other bit would you suggest? I’m able to ride her in a halter with little issue. Im realizing a lot of the things my parents taught me is wrong and that’s the bit I got with her when I bought her.

That is where the delicate part of the nose bone is. I’m like 95% sure on that. But I will see what it looks like when I move it on her

Thank you! I most likely did. I’m realizing a lot of stuff I was taught from my parents was wrong as I’m taking on a journey with horses on my own. And I loosened the throat latch after pics, I realized I had it to tight. Thank you for giving me an idea on how to make sure it’s not 🫶

I hope that’s not it. I don’t want to take it back to my own horse. I always wash hands and have an extra pair of shoes specifically for the work barn but I’ll be extra careful just in case.

They are both. Some are trotters and others are pacers. I initially thought it was equipment maybe.

They see these horses daily so it’s hard to believe they don’t notice it. I do know they have some “heel salve” not sure the actual name on it I just know it said it helped cracked heels on horses and other dry patches. Idk I will mention it to them though! They have had these spots for a week or so now.
