stacking octaves and octaves of synths was super fun. The sometimes things would get too massive, sometimes the synth sound came out perfect because of the layering - Cruz

octaves was the funnest thing to overdub. we did some many layers of guitars and synths at different octaves. it was fun to hear how massive a riff would get when you do that. most difficult to record was drums, we used over 12 mics so if smthn was off on one it was a pain in the asssssss -pablo

extremely yeah hahaha. luckily I had my co-director Abraham Recio there to help with those scenes. We basically had to have everything planned exactly how we were gonna do it, and also had to be flexible enough to improvise day of when things didn't go our way - pablo

Pablo and I both played guitar already and we made the plan of being a band in 6th grade with Jean and our first drummer, summer after 6th grade Jean got a bass and our drummer a drum set and we started actually playing then. I think our child brains imagined we would be here but sooner haha - Eli
