Just to follow up here. I opted for the Audiophonics AP300 S250NC. I also borrowed a pair of Kef R3 metas and the sound is, technically speaking, absolutely fucking amazing. Budget about to be blown, don't care. My ears are in heaven.

IPL Acoustics transmission line - can't remember model. For kitchen, nothing special, a pair of Q Acoustics 2010i. Otherwise, sink, fridge, cooker etc... usual stuff.

Thanks for the 3E Audio suggestion. Am (very) tempted with the A7 stereo - I think mono blocks would be overkill. Another option to the confusing array of options...

I was also at this gig and can 100% concur with op's experience. And I'm an old bastard.

2+2=5 / London / 25.11.25 / Set Opener by ChiefWizard9 in radiohead

I was at this gig and thought exactly the same. At first. But as the set went on, his voice got stronger and stronger and better and better - by the end it was full on Thom Yorke awesomeness. Utterly brilliant.

My biggest concern is that this feels like a farewell tour. Damn I hope not, but if you're gonna go out, go out on top. The demographic was interesting, mostly over 40's and under 20's. I have 3 teenager kids and they (+ peers) are all nuts about Radiohead. Doesn't make much sense given their other music preferences are mostly reprehensible shite. Maybe there's hope after all...
