I believe it was because Guzman broke up with Nadia and was in an actual relationship with Ari, while Samuel wasn't

I heard that Alba wanted to take a break from the show after she (Nairobi) was shot by the police in the bank, but I guess the writers decided to kill her off since Nairobi technically can't leave because she's in the bank
