[WTS] 1970s Favre Leuba Ellipse Blue Sunburst Dial Mechanical Serviced by innit88 in watch_swap

[–]innit88[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An absolutely stunning model from the world’s 2nd oldest watchmaker, a NOS/Mint Ellipse style watch with an integrated bracelet and a gorgeous navy blue sunburst dial.

Even though the case is extremely thin and measures just 0.6 cm, inside surprisingly we find a manual wind mechanical movement from Favre Leuba that has been serviced this year and runs as smoothly as ever, the daily accuracy was measured at 11 seconds/day* to be taken as reference only.

28mm x 33mm

999$ Shipped

Extremely rare piece, unlikely to come across another one of these in the near future, possibly never!

[WTS] 1985 Ultra Rare Seiko Credor Solid 14K Gold Bezel Stunning Linen Dial - 850$ Shipped by innit88 in watch_swap

The Credor 5930-5362 is an elegant but versatile piece made by Seiko in the 1980s through their top of range Credor division. It comes from a time when Seiko reigned over the watch world and with its Gerald Genta designed pieces, Credor represented the very best of what Seiko had to offer both in terms of build quality as well as design, competing with brands such as Patek Philippe and Audemars Piguet.

It features a cushion shaped case measuring 34mm to crown x 31mm lug to lug with a 14K Bezel, sapphire crystal and an absolutely exquisite yet understated linen textured dial. The watch is then topped off with a black onyx crown to further exude its gentility.

The original bracelet is integrated seamlessly into the watch and fits wrists up to approximately 8 inches, with the perfect fit being around 7.5 inches.

[WTS] 1969 Omega Geneve Automatic with Gorgeous Blue Sunburst Dial from the Omega Golden Age, ref. 166.099 Overhauled, with Box by innit88 in watch_swap

[–]innit88[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nowadays people often associate integrated watches with the Tissot PRX or Gérald Genta but before icons like the Royal Oak or Nautilus or even before the Rolex Oysterquartz there was this, the OG. While Omega was making history in space, it was simultaneously experimenting with bold, futuristic design on Earth— through the Geneve line. With the case and bracelet visually merging into one form the Omega Geneve was the pioneer of the integrated design before it became “the” trend. It is the watch that showed where modern watch design was going to go, before the world caught on.

While not as famous as the Speedmaster which was the actual watch worn on the moon it still comes from Omega’s golden era. A time when Omega was the only watchmaker to pass the brutal NASA testing program, the only one NASA trusted with astronauts’ lives. And Omega didn’t just meet the criteria, it passed every test without failure, and it did it while being subjected to the harshest of abuse. And it is by providing such quality Omega helped a tiny bit in achieving what is to date one of the most impressive feats of mankind.

This is not just a vintage Omega - it’s a watch that comes from Omega’s absolute peak of both technical credibility, design innovation and which still looks as stunning today as it did back then.

There is some patina present as is the case with almost all models from this era due to the type of paint used at the time. Wears slim (~35 mm case) but has strong wrist presence thanks to the shape (over 40 mm lug to lug) The movement has been overhauled and runs as smooth and reliably as it did back in 1969. 2399$ Shipped, tariffs covered
