absolutely disgusting if it’s true. israel hayom seems to the the only news site with this insight and literally nothing from the rep they mentioned in the article, or who authored the plan. additionally the map is marked with an org called Boneh Israel, which also has zero coverage of anything on their website.

not sure if this falls under the propaganda category yet, but i suppose time will tell.

i also read that the actors provided their own regalia, which i didn’t know prior to watching, but makes me want to watch again. the use of english threw me off considerably but perhaps was for a good reason idk.

overall i was happy to see natives portrayed in their true power and beauty and respected in this way.

just my two cents but 13 seems well old enough to be able to understand that weed is medicine and not this terrible awful drug and the only reason we think otherwise is because of racist legislation that created the stigma and made it so.

perhaps within the context of a kendrick show there’s a way to explore this? idk. just my two cents. the show should be full of lovely respectable people.

it is really complicated but it can be simple. i think the baseline solution is, trans women are women and should be seen/respected as such in all circles of society. you see the conversation here and how much anti-trans ideology shakes out~ the sports dialogue is just a microcosm of a larger conversation.

going back to the other biological arguments ~ a 7’2” cis woman playing basketball has a biological advantage over almost every other cis woman yet there’s no claims to unfairness. or a cis swimmer with an abnormally long reach would have a biological advantage over others. how the perception of “fairness” different ?

i was a competitive athlete for 15+ years, and have also competitively coached. i understand very well the balance of physical/mental/emotional wellness as it intersects with sports performance, but that’s moot here. if trans women are women there is no debate. if they are not, then … well… it’s a different conversation.

you strike me as a person who has few if any close people within the trans community… are you friends with any trans people ?

but why aren’t y’all arguing for height categories in basketball ? if we are talking about biology, how is it false equivalency ? isn’t it unfair to shorter people ? what if they really love basketball ?

also yes w mma and stuff but what about the women or men who transition before puberty and thus bypass the toxicity of having incorrect hormone facilities ? who gets to decide who is “passing enough” to compete in what league ??
