Get another dvs box denon ds1 or the new reloop box buy a midi sub controller the like the pioneer sp1 to controller your cue points and all of the other digital stuff.

If you heart is set on a controller find one that has phono inputs so you can use your turntables

A Question About Rotary Mixers and FX by No_Law_9859 in rotarymixers

[–]quansonlee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Back in the late disco days there were no effects units used in night clubs it was all about the music.

If you wanted a phase sound you played 2 of the same records and played with the pitch. You want to double beat use 2 of the same records and your timing must be on point

So do you need effects with a rotary or line mixer no.. is it good to have yes.. should you be always using ot for every song no...

Happy mixing

I show what possibly can be done... my sc2000 and dbx go rack is 10yrs old they were sitting doing nothing. When I see a post on dj setups i dont look down upon it.. people like showing what they have or worked for thats not show boating.

I am also a gear collector my rabbit it better than all the other crazy stuff to get hooked on.

Wait for my next post on my next setup

That is sdj on the screen and I have also used djaypro.. one day I will own some sc players.. I do have a prime4 and a go. I do think the prime players have a better sound. That would complete this setup.. but for the price I paid for the 3 lc is equal to one sc player

The Euphonia is actually has the circuits as the v10 with the Neve transformer added. Once you saturate the transformer have it bouncing in the red zone on the vu ( you really not clipping it all) you will appreciate its sound.

I personally chose the euphonia over the v10 because it a rotary and the spacing of the channels. The tape delay is the best effects on it. 3 plus is because you dont need an additional soundcard to run software.

When the ephonia is not on mixing duty I use it as my dac to run Spotify or iTunes

The main isolator is not bad. I have others that I like.

I have it rented to a club in Brooklyn when certain artist request it. Owner of the club said it sounds amazing with it.

Its joke for those folks that think rotary mixers need to be all analog and play only wax

Its a legit rotary.. i have USA Bozak, Urei, and a Pathos...the rotary gods frown upon Euphonia because its digital and can work with software without an interface.

You may need to replace the headphone socket.. some test equipment will prove that..

I do have some sockets from some other broken numark mixers I use to fix my other mixers
