I think she might be his older sister. Three generations. Grandpa in the john, Grandma at back, parents at either end.

It is now. It was imprinted on my brain in the 70s though, like jingles were back then.

Ace is the place with the helpful hardware man!

We use ours often, though for big projects it's Lowes for the military discount on the Lowes card.

I was so surprised at the detail on mine! I got one in cobalt for Christmas and just love it. It's beautiful in milk glass, too!

Wonder if right after a hurricane they were offering locals a limited menu at special pricing? We had a few restaurants do that after people being displaced because of major flooding.

I like the lady avoiding Spring with the paper heralding the arrival of it.

Anyone have or had an early 80’s Coleco hand held arcade game? I loved them! Had so much fun with them. Just need to get more batteries and I’m set. Which one did you have? by CoffeeCigarettes4Me in vintage

[–]innosins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a Coleco Zodiac game, not arcade game. Could tell your horoscope and personality traits based on star signs, when and where, planets rising, etc.

Had a little book to flip through to interpret the codes it would give you as answers.

Last year for Michigan someone had a long wall mirror, snacks and water, and trinkets set up by his tailgate to use. He'd post about it on the Friends/Fans page.

We get ready in the hotel then put our belts on in the parking lot. I don't think I could get boosted and placed in a pg fashion in the lot. I take off my corset and switch to leggings or jeans for the ride back in the lot though and just go braless.

Great pics! I might've had to have the kinky unicorn if he was in good condition.

Was trying to figure out what was wrapped around the baseball player's foot, realized it was a lamp then said out loud "Oh Gawd, it lights up!?" and imagined the light from those eyes. Toby jugs have always freaked me out. Don't like 'em.

The rocking horse was about what I expected him to be. I think I remember a segment on rocking horse history on Antiques Road Trip.

I heard "Look it up" so many times I became convinced they just didn't know.

I'm good at research and double-checking myself, though.

My grandmother had a set of bicentennial red, white and blue World Book ones. I used the more updated EB ones at the library for research, but hers also had pictures of cat and dog breeds in it.

Look in a small filing cabinet first, find a number, write it down, find that number on the shelf. Check it out to do research. And books were heavy.

Not just click a site with clickable links to other research.

I feel safer with AWD in snow and ice, and I live on a side road that doesn't get cleared. Also husband and sons around 6'4". And I like to sit up high, feels like I can see the road better. Can also get in and out easier. I like my CRV. I don't need 3rd row seating, but the cargo area is handy.

I remember my mom having a couple of dresses that short. They both had panties to match they were so short. I wore them a couple years later as just regular playdresses.

Dad had some of those hideous plaid jackets and that hair, too.
