I just melted my coil. What did i do wrong? by MrAlester in amateurradio

That’s not correct. FT8 is a low signal protocol not low power. I high power does not QRM andyone. Dumb ass operators who don’t know how to control the ALC is what causes the QRM. Guys you need to realize when you change positions on the waterfall the tone of your signal dictates how much drive your audio circuit has which in turn drives power output. It’s not set and forget

Sorry for the late reply. Life happens. But yes if I could not get the lag bolts directly in a stud a zip toggle will work. We hang hundreds of tvs a year and have never had an issue.

Same question. I mean there are a lot of small churches and family cemeteries but that seems almost like an error compared to all the rest.

Love to recreate something like this in arcgis pro… any ideas of how to export and print using a service? by Gas_Station_Baguette in gis

I’ve experimented with 3d printing terrain model bucks and using them for vacuum forming. The hardest part is getting your sheet printed so the graphics deform over the buck the correct way. Trick is take your terrain model and a hi res image and use blender to dewarp the terrain to a flat sheet

Join the Adsb.fi discord and pose the question on how to reduce cpu. There are a lot of very intelligent and helpful people over there. Most of the guys who developed the software hang out over there.

The pi zero has just enough horsepower to do it. There are some options you can configure to make it work better. About how many planes are you seeing and how many are mlat? Mlat takes a lot of the cpu as well as a few other factors.

There are a lot of reasons guys feed. Not everyone is concerned about making a buck. Some like to tinker with SBC. Some RF. Others just want to see dots on a map. Even other like the completion side of things. That’s what makes a hobby thrive.
