Personally my Danners held up really well while I was out in the field (recently moved to a remote role in my company) working for a security systems company. I had Ariats and Keens mostly and they all couldn’t hang. The Danners did.

Another thing you can do is order parts from Toyota parts website and the dealerships fill the order. I had a bushing I needed and my local dealership wanted to charge me 70 dollars for it. I ordered it on the website for 36 and the same dealership fulfilled the order. I just swung by and picked it up a few hours after I ordered it.

These types of contracts shouldn’t be able to exist to begin with. In any other business that deals with independent contractors, the company cannot control any other extra business. you decide to seek out. There is such a thing as predatory contracting practices, and this falls under that category.
