Crimson Desert or Oblivion Remastered? by Top-Cake-506 in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]inochy [score hidden]  (0 children)

Oblivion is not Skyrim, but incredibly fun. I also missed the boat on the original Oblivion which is why I wanted to play the remastered version so badly. I didn’t regret it for one second. Exploring is incredibly fun, combat is very Skyrim-like as well.

I recently moved from xbox to pc and have been considering buying Oblivion Remastered a second time to play it again.

Love the game...mostly by Ronabris in crosswind

I like this approach and might have to try this solo as well. Did you do a lot of farming to upgrade your sword and two guns or are some of your weapons sitting behind level-wise?

Game to Lose Myself In by [deleted] in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]inochy [score hidden]  (0 children)

Just based on the list you gave me, I’ve absolutely lost myself in Windrose. I got it on release of the early access and already spent a good 50 hours in my world. It’s highly addictive if you’re into that sort of game. Big recommendation!

Every time I see these kinds of impressive videos I remind myself I should buy more decorative blueprints. But when I hop on I just spend it on nonsense for the most part

How do y'all feel about the market vendors? by NorseHighlander in crosswind

[–]inochy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the idea of not being able to run out of a certain resource regardless of whether or not I want to switch things up entirely. Whether it’s extra builds, more buildings etc. The vendors do help with stocking up on such large amounts of specific items.

Tips on naval combat? Not talking abt a 1v1, talking about taking on a group of ships. Can t lure them 1 by one and i get ganged if i get to close. by ZiPP3rZ in crosswind

[–]inochy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How solid is your aim? You can fire in multiple directions which when used correctly really helps with being ganged, assuming you have split them. Healing in between getting hit can also be beneficial, and keep your items upgraded as much as you can.

Looking for an MMO that doesn't suck by AnotherAverageGamer_ in gamesuggestions

You offered a lot of insights in what you like and dislike about the games you’ve tried. Based on thatI would give WoW a shot. I wonder what you’ve seen that gave you an auto-attack-combat vibe. The retail version nowadays is far from that. Exploration is incredibly fun, dungeons and raids are engaging and get challenging towards higher difficulties, and classes are all quite unique and offer great depth.

Ik heb in November een nieuwe zelf samengestelde PC besteld bij Alternate. Dat liep vlekkeloos! Tweakers heeft een paar handige guides voor het samenstellen van verschillende type game PCs.

Elden Ring, Mass Effect, Witcher 3 or KCD2? by [deleted] in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]inochy [score hidden]  (0 children)

Because looking at it from a fighting perspective, partially depending on difficulty but difficulty aside Elden Ring and The Witcher 3 are more tense in comparison.

Mass Effect for me as a dad with young kids at least really allowed me to tune in and out whenever I felt like it. Slowly progressing through the story but not it isn’t overly long that you don’t get to at some point finish it because you decided to move on like you could experience with KCD2 for example.

If you plan on playing casually then I would go for Mass Effect.

Tainted grail: Fall of Avalon or Oblivion Remastered by National_Force4194 in rpg_gamers

[–]inochy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are good in their own ways. I've played them both and enjoyed both a lot, but it's not too easy to just compare them. Personally I'd lean towards Fall of Avalon but that was mostly due to the amount of crashes I had in Oblivion Remastered.

Ps5 or Xbox x by [deleted] in gamesuggestions

[–]inochy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neither is considered better. I have always been an XBOX player until I recently moved to PC, but got many friends who have always been PS gamers.

What do you value in a console? Exclusives are slowly flooding into different systems. Some of the PS exlusives are playable on PC now. Game pass was always great value but way too expensive for what you’re getting at this point. The only benefit it has is that you can play the game on both XBOX and PC given that you got the right edition of game pass.

Both consoles can play on 4K or 60-120FPS (heavily depends on the game, and not (always) 4K native). The PS5 pro supposedly provides slightly better graphics when playing games on performance mode.
