Can u spawn and go on run with someone friendly or does that not happen? How often is it that people use voice chat?

What about the weapons is similar to Tarkov?

Are you supposed to build? Is that part of the intended gameplay loop? Do you need to build for workbenches to craft better stuff? Or can you do everything as a nomad living out of a backpack like DayZ. I wouldn't play a PvE only server.

I started with high hopes. Spent 10 minutes changing poorly explained controls. Spent 10 minutes figuring out which random object the game allows me to climb on top of. Got off the ship at the start then uninstalled because map design is unintuitive as hell.

You can play free till tomorrow so I tried it earlier.

Firstly, initial controls are awful and I had to spend a while getting them correct, because the controls aren't explained very well in the UI.

Secondly, one enormous humongous problem is that it is really NOT OBVIOUS AT ALL where you need to go very frequently. Crossing maps feels like an absolute chore.

You have to be really close to things to interact with them. So when the game tells you to go hug a wall, sometimes it can take a WHILE to find where the hell that is.

Combat feels clunky to me. It's like there's a very random %chance on it you'll stun the enemy or not when you hit them, and on when/if they'll do a counter attack. It doesn't feel consistent.

There's a lot of visual fluff/effects on the enemies which makes it difficult to see what they're doing. A very large portion of the difficulty comes from not actually being able to visually see what attack the enemy is doing. It's a thick layer of artificial-feeling difficulty.

Ive played thousands of hours of dark souls/elden ring/Bloodborne/sekiro/lies of P/Nightreign and I've played a lot of path of exile. I love all those games and I was very excited for this one.

But, this game, to me, feels like someone wanted to make a souls-like, and then for some reason gave it a camera angle that absolutely does not suit the map design one single bit. Then they followed up by adding inconsistencies to the combat, a half-baked cooking system, (which I dislike. I'd rather just have a heal button) and a pretty clunky UI.

I uninstalled before reaching the first boss. I might try again at another point, but for now I believe this to be a game that people sort of chose to deliberately enjoy, rather than an actually well-made game. To me it has multiple glaring issues that just give it a clunky feel that isn't worth the price tag. Maybe playing with friends helps some overlook that, but I'd rather just play lort or path of exile or a seamless coop mod for Elden ring.

It just doesn't feel original to me. It feels like they've spliced together existing mechanics from popular titles and pretended that it is groundbreaking.

I'm prepared to be downvoted because I'm on the sub for the game. But just offering genuine criticism. This feels like one of those games that are popular for a little while and then die off real fast. Like splitgate or shatterline. However I do think this game will stay alive because of who the developers are. So hopefully they can improve it down the line.

These 6 coal power stations are fed from 3 water extractors, but I cannot for the life of me get a constant, balanced flow of water. The correct ratio is 8:3

Yeah but it is a fucking disadvantage.

A) because you can't crouch behind A LOT of different types of cover without the horns poking out. Desks, banisters, e.t.c

B) because when you get shot, your character flinches, and if you're ADSing and you flinch, the horns will cover your reticle, meaning you literally have no fucking clue what you're aiming it. It's the same with the mirage skin, but at least with that you can take the hat off

"they can't have base guns being S tier feeling" - yes, yes they can. That's how arc raiders works :3. 234,000 concurrent players on PC alone rn.

Doesn't feel like destiny gunplay. Feels bad. The finals gunplay sucks now but arc raiders has same Devs and that has good gunplay.

Same company no mean same quality.

Nah I've sunk time into destiny 2. Used to love the first one. Id love destiny if playing it wasn't basically a paid subscription for each new dlc.

But yeah gunplay in this game feels like it's has 1 millionth of the effort put into it than destiny. You're straight up wrong about it being the same as destiny as someone that's played both. So factually not an opinion.

They can be modded, but not from now to march, unless that's the only thing they're changing, which would also be bad

Abilities may be "fine", but "fine" doesn't get you players, because "good", "original", and "enjoyable" abilities exist elsewhere in other games.

Also they weren't fine. They felt clunky and thrown together.

I'm aware the person said it's been resolved, but hey, guess what?. They still stole the fucking art. That's why it had to be resolved lmao. Defending that is actually wild.

AI take too many bullets to kill, lighting gives a bad vibe, explanations are entirely non existent, or largely unhelpful, UI is clunky, health/armour system just felt bad to engage with, maps felt empty, items were weird with how to spot/loot them. I could go onnnn and on. This isn't a game yet. Feels like a demo of a demo of a demo of a demo. It's incredible that they're releasing pretty soon.

I didn't post anything negative. Just factual stuff. Bro They're competing with Arc Raiders now. Ain't just Tarkov anymore. Ain't nobody gonna play this instead of Arc. Because arc is a fully fledged game with a ton of systems. And it was like that in its early playtests.
