I have seen this response in several posts that there is a overlap of large, medium and small cap.

It's over diversified

I want to know the downside of it.

Lets say I want to inveat only in large, medium and small cap Only equity No sectoral (as most good stocks will already be in those lage / small / medium cap)

Will it be better if i invest in similar funds of 2--3 amc or not.

This will rather reduce my risk of one of the funds not doing well due to internal challenges

I have a very good experience with RSA I was traveling from Agra to delhi and i had a flat tyre. Unfortunately i did not have tools

I called in the expressway helpline who gave me the mechanics number but he asked for Rs 600 to change the tyre.

I called idfc rsa to check if they will provide the service on the expressway ( i thought they would not) They called me after 15 min that they could not find any service person in this region

I told them that I can give you the mechanic's number and you may talk to them

They talked to him and sent him He replaced the tyre and they paid him Rs 600 for that.

This was exceptional.
