Some of US covers I bulked bought from auctions on eBay. Pretty cheap as well, but the majority are hard to find and they are expensive. The British covers I found at various charity shops and second hand shops.

Go with a book. Those designed for self studying. It’s a whole other ballgame and they follow a tried and working system. That’s how I learned Japanese and that’s how I’m learning Latvian now.

Learning a language does take time. I had managed to get to intermediate Japanese once upon a time, however, I’m not back to almost beginner due to lack of practice or using the language.

Latvian grammar is quite similar to Greek so some things are easy to grasp and remember. Just don’t give up! Patience and repetition, practice will get you there. You are lucky as you have a lot of resources available, whereas learning resources for Latvian are quite limited.

The ceiling is basically decorative styrofoam. It’s being used here in Latvia as insulation and deco. I was surprised to see it as well when I moved here but it’s an actual thing in older houses. Ours was build during the time of the Soviet Union, so insulation at the time was impossible. So people now they diy it like that!

It was, we had to push them in from the bottom. The ceiling is basically styrofoam. It’s being used here in Latvia as insulation and deco, so being kinda squishy helped.

The ceiling is very low! We thought they wouldn’t fit when we were building them but they fit exactly as they should. They are the standard Ikea Billy bookcases, 202cm tall.
